16 Porta San Marco<br />
D'origine medievale fu ricostruita<br />
<strong>da</strong>i Veneziani nella secon<strong>da</strong><br />
metà del XV secolo e restaurata<br />
nel 1536 <strong>da</strong>l vescovo Bernardo<br />
Clesio. Venne ridotta allo stato<br />
attuale nel secondo Ottocento in<br />
seguito all'intervento voluto <strong>da</strong>l<br />
podestà Baruffaldi.<br />
Das Stadttor ist mittelalterlichen<br />
Ursprungs, wurde von den<br />
Venezianern in der 2. Hälfte des 15.<br />
Jh. wieder errichtet und 1536 durch<br />
Bischof Bernardo Clesio restauriert.<br />
Sein heutiges Aussehen erhielt <strong>da</strong>s<br />
Stadttor in der 2. Hälfte des 19. Jh.<br />
auf Betreiben des Bürgermeisters<br />
Baruffaldi.<br />

17 Slargo del Pozzo<br />
Piccola piazza all'incrocio tra<br />
via Fiume e via Diaz. Il pozzo<br />
collocato nel centro ripropone<br />
l'antico manufatto rimosso nel<br />
1822 per far posto alla fontana.<br />
I turisti talvolta vi fanno cadere una<br />
moneta per cercare la fortuna.<br />
Ein kleiner Platz zwischen Via Fiume<br />
und Via Diaz. Der Schacht, in der<br />
Mitte des Platzes, erinnert an einen<br />
alten Ziehbrunnen, der 1822 einem<br />
hygienischeren Brunnen weichen<br />
musste. Touristen werfen zuweilen<br />
eine Münze als Glücksbringer hinein.<br />

make way for a more hygienic pump.<br />

18 Chiesa di San Giuseppe<br />
o della Disciplina<br />
Era una delle chiese più<br />
importanti della città, attestata<br />
nel secolo XIII assieme<br />
all'attiguo ospe<strong>da</strong>le. Nel primo<br />
Quattrocento venne affi<strong>da</strong>ta alla<br />
confraternita dei Battuti, detti<br />
anche Disciplini. Sconsacrata e<br />
adibita a magazzino nel 1914, fu<br />
successivamente trasformata in<br />
galleria di collegamento fra la<br />
città vecchia e la nuova. Parte<br />
degli antichi arredi ora si trova<br />
presso il Museo Civico.<br />
