CONCERTS AT THE EUPHRASIAN BASILICA<br />
Poreè's most famous building, the Euphrasian Basilica, is especially magical<br />
when it is filled with the sound of classical music, enriched by highly skilled<br />
interpretations of local and foreign musicians. These artists come together<br />
for a festival which has been traditionally held in July and August since 1962…<br />
JAZZ IN THE LAPIDARIUM<br />
Jazz concerts are held once a week during the summer months in the<br />
historical ambience of the lapidarium of the Heritage Museum of Poreè<br />
and Its Surrounding Area. This is an true event which competently<br />
brings together the performances of important<br />
jazz musicians and the magic of the old town centre.<br />
THE STREET ART FESTIVAL<br />
A festival which takes place every August in Poreè brings together<br />
artists from all over the world who surprise and impress with performances<br />
which vary from the performing to visual arts and street acrobatics…<br />
A true revue of unusual skills, arts and entertainment…<br />
ZLATNA SOPELA - THE GOLDEN SOPELA<br />
A traditional meeting of folklore groups in Poreè’s Town Square that is a true<br />
revue of cultures and traditions from all corners of the globe and includes<br />
folklore dance performances, exhibits of national costumes, artwork and<br />
presentations of national cuisines, trades and autochthonous products…<br />
GIOSTRA<br />
Traditional games, baroque dances, costume balls, promenades, knight<br />
tournaments are the backbone of this festival which brings Poreè<br />
back to the 17th and 18th centuries every September. Guests enjoy this<br />
festival immensely while locals parade throughout the medieval streets of the<br />
town dressed in baroque period costumes.<br />
POREÈKI DELFIN – POREÈ'S DOLPHIN<br />
No sporting event in Poreè has as many visitors or is more cheerful than<br />
Poreè's Dolphin. The most attractive part of the festival is the recreational<br />
swimming marathon in three lengths: 1500 m (the Bronze Dolphin),<br />
3000 m (the Silver Dolphin) and 5000 m (the Gold Dolphin).<br />

THE TOWN'S PULSE ON THE MAIN SQUARE<br />
The spacious town square stage which hosts numerous events from concerts,<br />
plays, festivals, folklore meetings, food presentations and local parties…<br />
During the summer strolls through the town centre never fail to surprise you<br />
with a new, attractive event…<br />
The feast of St. Mauro, the town's patron, is celebrated on 21 November.
