L’indice di Tiffeneau è propriamente il<br />
rapporto tra FEV1 e VC. Se però la curva<br />
di FVC è ben eseguita con tempi<br />
appropriati, il rapporto FEV1/FVC può<br />
surrogare l’indice di Tiffeneau<br />
Se inferiore a 70% come valore assoluto<br />
o a 88% del teorico per gli uomini oppure all’89% del<br />
teorico per le donne indica<br />
la presenza di un deficit ostruttivo
