in piazza A FALCADE
Falcade saluterà l’arrivo del 2008 con una grande festa in piazza, organizzata dal Consorzio Turistico
Val Biois. Ad allietare la notte musica, spettacolo e puro divertimento con il gruppo ”Cristian & Jak”. A
mezzanotte i presenti brinderanno con il vin brulè offerto dagli organizzatori. A seguire uno spettacolo
piromusicale da non perdere.

New Year party
in the centre of FALCADE
Falcade will welcome in the New Year 2008 with a huge party in the town centre, organized by
the Val Biois Tourist Association. The square will come alive with music, entertainment and lots
and lots of fun with”Cristian & Jak”. At midnight there will be a toast with mulled wine offered by
the event’s organizers, followed by a spectacular music and fi reworks display.

“Pavarói”, i falò
dell’Epifania
in AGORDINO
L’antica tradizione dei pavarói rivive il 5 gennaio 2008. Al calar della
sera i fuochi beneauguranti dell’Epifania saranno accesi nei centri
abitati e sulle cime dell’Agordino, dal Framont all’Agner, dal Col di Luna
al Monte Zélo ed alla catena del San Sebastiano… La manifestazione,
organizzata da numerose associazioni tra cui la sezione agordina del
Cai, il Soccorso alpino e il Comune di Agordo, avrà inizio intorno alle
17.30; sul Broi di Agordo sarà allestito un punto di ristoro accanto a un
falò, mentre intorno il rito dei pavarói diffonderà il proprio messaggio di
luce catalizzando l’attenzione di tutti coloro che sanno guardare in alto.

The Pavarói,
the Epiphany bonfires
in the AGORDINO area
The ancient tradition of the pavarói will come to life once again
this year on the 5th of January. As night falls, the propitiatory
bonfi res of the Epiphany will be lit in villages and on mountain-tops
throughout the Agordino area, from the Framont to the Agner, from
Col di Luna to Monte Zélo and the San Sebastiano chain…This
event, organized by numerous associations, among them the
Agordino section of the Italian Alpine Club, the Alpine Rescue
Service and the Municipal Council of Agordo, will start at about
17.30; in the Broi area in the centre of Agordo a refreshment point
will be set up next to a bonfi re, while all around the glow of the
fl ames of the pavarói will signal good luck for the new year.
