Cena al Rifugio 2000

Cenare in rifugio è un’esperienza magica. Basta pensare al fascino
di salire di notte, con il gatto delle nevi, nel silenzio di una neve scintillante.
È la proposta del Rifugio Sappada 2000 con i suoi piatti
tipici e tradizionali, basati su prodotti locali, dalle grigliate di carne ai
wurstel, dalle salsicce al pastin ed alle minestre d’orzo e fagioli, tra i
quali è possibile scegliere per personalizzare e concordare il menu.
La proposta è per i gruppi di almeno 10 persone, per la necessità di
impegnare il gatto delle nevi. Coppie e famiglie possono comunque
raggiungere il rifugio con la seggiovia – l’ultima corsa parte intorno
alle 16 – fermarsi a dormire e scendere il mattino dopo. Il rifugio
offre camere da 2, 4, 6 e 8 posti.

Dinner at the 2000
Refuge in SAPPADA
Dinner in a mountain refuge is a magical experience. Just think how
exciting it would be to take a snow-cat up through the glistening
snow in the crisp, silent night air. This is what the 2000 Refuge in
Sappada offers visitors, with typical, traditional dishes made with local
produce, and you can choose the menu that suits you best from a
wide range of options: from grilled meats to wurstel, from sausages
to pastin and soups made with barley and beans. Bookings can be
made for groups of at least ten people, because it is necessary to
use the snow-cat for transport. Couples and families can also reach
the refuge using the chairlift – the last run departs at around 4 p.m.
– stay overnight and return back down the following morning. The
refuge has rooms for 2, 4, 6 and 8 people.

FALCADE, a cena sotto le stelle…
Posati sci e scarponi la vacanza continua. Il primo appuntamento degli sportivi è nei caratteristici
après ski, dove servono stuzzichini, birra di qualità e musica, tanta musica.
Dopo una salutare doccia la serata prosegue attorno a un tavolo, nella calda atmosfera dei rifugi
disseminati intorno a Falcade. Per raggiungerli sono a disposizione motoslitte e gatti delle nevi, ma
se non temete la fatica ecco le escursioni sotto le stelle. Accompagnati da una guida potrete esplorare
le Dolomiti su racchette da neve o sci d’alpinismo. Alla meta, lo sforzo è ripagato dal calore di
una bella stube, da un ambiente caratteristico e da un’ampia scelta di specialità locali: casonziei,
gnocchi alla ricotta o alla zucca e la polenta, regina della tavola di montagna accompagnata da selvaggina,
schiz, costicine di maiale e pastin. Per fi nire la serata una grappa digestiva fatta in casa,
amara quella di genziana, più amabili quelle di mirtilli, ai semi di fi nocchio selvatico o al pino mugo.

FALCADE, dining beneath the stars…
There’s more to your winter holiday here than skiing, and once you take your ski boots off in the evening there’s still plenty to keep you busy.
First of all, there are the characteristic après ski get-togethers, where you can nibble on some tasty snacks and listen to lots of good music.
After you’ve recharged your batteries with an invigorating shower, the evening continues at the tables of any one of the cosy mountain refuges
scattered around the Falcade area. To reach the refuges, motor sledges and snow cats are available, but if you’re still not too tired you might like
to take a moonlight trip up to them on foot; there are local guides who will be happy to accompany you on snow-shoes or mountaineering skis.
Your efforts will be amply rewarded by the warmth of a cosy stube and a wide choice of local specialities such as casonziei, gnocchi dishes with
ricotta or pumpkin, and of course polenta, the star of mountain cuisine, served with game, pork rib chops, schiz or pastin. And to bring your
evening to a close, how about one of the delicious local grappas, such as the bitter-tasting gentian variety, or the sweeter types flavoured with
bilberries, fennel seeds or mugo pine.
