SERRAI DI SOTTOGUDA

Un’attività sportiva davvero faticosa, che richiede concentrazione e
tanta forza di volontà. È così che si misurano gli appassionati dello sci
alpinismo. Uno sport che regala tante emozioni e soddisfazioni, a stretto
contatto con la natura, dove l’unico piccolo rumorio è dettato dagli sci
che scivolano sulla neve. In un ambiente davvero unico, la gola dei Serrai
di Sottoguda, si svolgerà la 1 a “Notturna sci alpinismo Serrai di
Sottoguda”, in programma per venerdì 22 febbraio 2008. La partenza
è prevista alle ore 19.30 dal paese di Sottoguda in uno scenario
considerato la meraviglia delle Alpi. Da qui, lungo un percorso di 7 km
con un dislivello complessivo di circa 400 metri, si raggiunge Malga
Ciapela oltrepassando i Serrai e toccando la località del Gran Pian per poi
raggiungere l’arrivo in località Dovich.

RAI DI SOTTOGUDA gorge
Ski mountaineering is not for the faint-hearted; it is an extremely
tiring discipline, which requires concentration and willpower.
It is also of course a thrilling, highly-satisfying sport, in close
contact with nature, where the silence is broken only by the
crunch of your skis on the crisp snow. Friday 22nd February
sees the fi rst edition of the “Notturna sci alpinismo Serrai
di Sottoguda”, a night-time ski mountaineering competition,
which will take place in the truly unique environment of the
Serrai di Sottoguda gorge. The competition is set to start off
at 19.30 from the village of Sottoguda, in a landscape reputed
to be among the most spectacular in the Alps. The 7 km route,
with a total level difference of around 400 m, runs through the
gorge to Malga Ciapela, touching upon Gran Pian on the way to
the fi nishing line in Dovich.

La Zuita che gira de not – Sci alpinismo ad ALLEGHE
Un brulichio di piccoli bagliori che partono dalla riva del lago di Alleghe e salgono lungo la pista da sci fi no ai Piani di Pezzè: sono gli appassionati
dello sci alpinismo che, al chiaro di luna, si attrezzano con pelli di foca e lampada frontale, sfi dando buio e freddo per partecipare a questi raduni
promozionali. “La Zuita che gira de not”, questo il nome della manifestazione che si svolgerà ad Alleghe il 18 gennaio 2008 e che vede un numero
sempre maggiore di atleti cimentarsi sui 4,5 Km della pista “Rientro”. Imperdibile il gran fi nale al Ristoro Self Service dei Piani di Pezzè fra pastasciutta,
birra e riscontri cronometrici!

Ski mountaineering in ALLEGHE
A host of twinkling lights which start from the banks of Alleghe Lake and go up along the
ski slope to Piani di Pezzè: these are the ski mountaineering enthusiasts who put on their
synthetic seal-skins and head-lamps and head out into the dark, freezing moonlight to take
part in events such as La Zuita che gira de not (the night-owl in the local dialect), which
will take place in Alleghe on the 18th of January 2008. Each year a growing number of
contestants take on the 4.5 km of the “Rientro” slope. Don’t miss the grand fi nale at the
Self Service Restaurant in Piani di Pezzè, with pasta, beer and chrono checks!
