• A sample of each product label. All labels must contain the following information in Thai
or English:
Name and brand of the product
Details of sole importer/distributor including name, company address and telephone
number
Details of manufacturer including company name and source of product
Net weight/volume of product
Percentage of alcoholic content
• 11 examples of label for each type of wine to be brought to Thailand by specifying name
and location of importer, product name, alcohol degree, size of wine container, name
and location of wine producer.
Labels:
In the label, it is required to state the followings:
• Name and address of producer of wine; name of country of origin; degree of alcohol;
size of container
It will be necessary for the importer to add stickers with indication in both English and/or Thai
language stating the followings:
• Name and address of permitted importer
• Children under 18 years should not drink. Drinking alcoholic beverage will decrease
driving capabilities. Prohibit the sale of alcohol to children below 18year.
