di invitarvi a scoprire il rinnovamento del Gruppo<br />

radici forti e profonde.<br />

È il 1956 qu<strong>and</strong>o Clementino <strong>Bonfiglioli</strong> fonda<br />
a Bologna l’azienda che ancora oggi porta il suo<br />
nome, per rispondere alla crescente dom<strong>and</strong>a del<br />
settore meccanico di ricambi e componenti<br />
di precisione per macchine agricole e motocicli,<br />
a quel tempo in gr<strong>and</strong>e sviluppo.<br />
Autentico pioniere, progetta e brevetta pochi anni<br />
dopo il riduttore a due stadi epicicloidali serie RAE,<br />
che testimonia la fondamentale scelta di produrre<br />
nuovi riduttori interamente progettati in ogni<br />
componente. Distribuiti prima localmente e poi su<br />
tutto il territorio nazionale, i prodotti <strong>Bonfiglioli</strong><br />
incontrano un crescente consenso, port<strong>and</strong>o<br />
nel 1975 all’acquisizione di Trasmital, azienda<br />
che è oggi leader nella produzione di riduttori<br />
epicicloidali per escavatori, macchine stradali<br />
e impianti eolici.<br />
Gli anni Ottanta e Novanta vedono <strong>Bonfiglioli</strong><br />
esp<strong>and</strong>ersi con successo nel mercato<br />
internazionale, con l’apertura di filiali dirette e<br />
stabilimenti produttivi, anche grazie a continue<br />
innovazioni di prodotto. Il nuovo millennio vede<br />
un ulteriore rafforzamento con l’acquisizione di<br />
Vectron, leader nei sistemi elettronici di <strong>control</strong>lo,<br />
e Tecnoingranaggi, produttrice di riduttori a gioco<br />
ridotto.<br />
Nel cinquantesimo anno di attività, <strong>Bonfiglioli</strong><br />
rinnova l’impulso all’internazionalizzazione e alla<br />
<strong>green</strong> economy, conferm<strong>and</strong>o il proprio ruolo<br />
di player globale. Alla scomparsa di Clementino<br />
nel 2010, il testimone passa alla figlia Sonia, già<br />
colonna portante del Gruppo, che lo rilancia e<br />
rafforza in tutto il mondo.<br />
Clementino <strong>Bonfiglioli</strong> founded the company that still<br />
bears his name in Bologna in 1956, in response to<br />
a growing dem<strong>and</strong> from engineering companies for<br />
spare parts <strong>and</strong> precision components for agricultural<br />
machinery <strong>and</strong> motorcycles, two rapidly developing<br />
areas at the time.<br />
Clementino <strong>Bonfiglioli</strong> was a genuine pioneer. In<br />
just a few years he put into practice his decision to<br />
develop <strong>and</strong> produce all-new products, <strong>and</strong> designed<br />
<strong>and</strong> patented the RAE series of two-stage planetary<br />
gearboxes. Distributed first locally <strong>and</strong> then nationwide,<br />
these products were increasingly well received. In 1975,<br />
<strong>Bonfiglioli</strong>’s success led to the acquisition of Trasmital,<br />
a company that is now a leader in planetary gearboxes<br />
for excavators, road construction machines <strong>and</strong> wind<br />
turbines.<br />
Throughout the 1980s <strong>and</strong> 1990s, the <strong>Bonfiglioli</strong> Group<br />
successfully exp<strong>and</strong>ed into the international market<br />
<strong>and</strong>, driven by continuous product innovation, opened<br />
directly <strong>control</strong>led subsidiaries <strong>and</strong> production plant<br />
in a number of countries. The new millennium saw<br />
yet more additions to the Group with the acquisition<br />
of Vectron, a leader in electronic <strong>control</strong> systems, <strong>and</strong><br />
Tecnoingranaggi, a manufacturer of precision, low<br />
backlash gearboxes.<br />
In its 50th anniversary year, <strong>Bonfiglioli</strong> renewed its<br />
commitment to internationalisation <strong>and</strong> the <strong>green</strong><br />
economy, <strong>and</strong> confirmed its role as a major player on<br />
the global market. When Clementino <strong>Bonfiglioli</strong> died<br />
in 2010, his daughter Sonia, already a driving force<br />
in management, assumed <strong>control</strong> <strong>and</strong> continued the<br />
process of re-launching <strong>and</strong> consolidating the group’s<br />
progress around the world.<br />
