Monte Generoso
Il Monte Generoso è la montagna più panoramica del Cantone
Ticino. La vista spazia dalle pianure lombarde alle zone montagnose
delle Alpi e degli Appennini. Vi si accede con un comodo trenino a
cremagliera che parte da Capolago, in un viaggio di 40 minuti tra la
natura incontaminata. Sulla Vetta, una moderna struttura permette la
ristorazione e l’alloggio. La Vetta è raggiungibile a piedi dalla stazione
d’arrivo della ferrovia in 10 minuti. Molti sono gli itinerari didattici e le
curiosità da scoprire, oltre anche all’Osservatorio astronomico.
Der Monte Generoso ist der Berg mit der besten Aussicht des
Kantons Tessin. Der Blick reicht vom lombardischen Flachland bis zu
den Alpen und dem Apennin. Die Spitze erreicht man bequem nach
einer 40-minütigen Fahrt mit der Zahnradbahn. Sie startet in Capolago
und führt durch unberührte Natur. Auf der Spitze bietet eine moderne
Infrastruktur Verpflegungs möglichkeiten im Restaurant sowie Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten.
Die Spitze erreicht man von der Station in
10 Gehminuten. Auf dem Berg sind viele Lehrpfade vorhanden und
zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten zu entdecken. Darüber hinaus befindet
sich auf der Spitze eine Sternwarte.

de tout le canton du Tessin. La vue s’étire des plaines lombardes
jusqu’aux régions montagneuses des Alpes et des Apennins. Vous
pourrez y accéder grâce à un petit train à crémaillère très pratique
qui part de Capolago pour un voyage de 40 minutes dans une nature
préservée. Au sommet, une structure moderne vous proposera le gîte
et le couvert. Vous pourrez atteindre le sommet en 10 minutes à pied
depuis la gare d’arrivée du petit train. Outre l’observatoire astronomique,
vous découvrirez de nombreux itinéraires didactiques et curiosités.
Monte Generoso is the mountain which offers the finest panorama
over the whole of Canton Ticino. The view goes from the Lombardy
plains to the mountain regions of the Alps and the Apennines. An easy
train ride on a rack railway leaving from Capolago takes you to the
top in 40 minutes, going through unspoilt nature. On the top there is a
restaurant and accommodation in a modern structure. The peak can be
reached on foot from the top railway station in 10 minutes. There are
many didactic itineraries and curiosities to be discovered as well as the
Astronomic Observatory.
