Da settembre La Freccia cambia, con un progetto editoriale fresco e dinamico e una veste
grafica più moderna, giovane e leggera. Una scelta che rappresenta il nuovo, rivoluzionario
concetto di viaggio reso possibile dal successo dell’Alta Velocità e dal sistema delle Frecce
FS. Perché per il Gruppo guidato da Mauro Moretti si apre un periodo di grandi sfide, dalla
liberalizzazione del mercato dei trasporti alla tecnologia del futuro che entro il 2013 porterà
sui binari italiani il treno ad alta velocità più avanzato al mondo.
Aggiudicata all’ATI Ansaldo Breda/Bombardier la gara internazionale per la costruzione dei
50 esemplari in grado di arrivare a 400 km/h, l’attenzione resta altissima su tutti i fronti. La
nuova generazione di treni AV dovrà soddisfare ogni esigenza di mobilità del terzo millennio
in termini di velocità, comfort e sicurezza. Con un occhio all’ambiente, la capacità di competere
e crescere anche sui mercati internazionali con la garanzia di regole comuni. Mentre
la tabella di marcia del trasporto UE per i prossimi dieci anni include più ricerca e produttività,
potenziamento delle infrastrutture e della quota di mercato passeggeri e merci.
E intanto il treno trasforma le abitudini di vita degli italiani, con soluzioni di viaggio “scacciacrisi”,
un’offerta flessibile rispetto alla domanda e 12 milioni e mezzo di passeggeri che da
gennaio a fine luglio hanno scelto di viaggiare ad Alta Velocità.

From September on La Freccia changes look with a fresh and dynamic editorial outlook and a
more modern and streamlined graphic design. This choice symbolises the new, revolutionary
concept of travel generated by the success of High Speed and the FS Frecce system. The
Group led by Mauro Moretti is entering a period of great challenges, such as the liberalisation
of the transport market and the technology of the future which within 2013 will put the most
advanced Frecciarossa trains in the world onto the Italian railway network.
Following the award of the international tender for the construction of 50 trains, capable
of reaching speeds of 400 km/h, to the Ansaldo Breda/Bombardier Temporary Business
Association, attention remains high in all directions. The new generation of HS trains must
satisfy all third millennium mobility requirements in terms of speed, comfort and safety.
They must keep an eye on the environment and also be able to compete and grow on the
international markets, as well as guarantee shared rules. The EU transport programme for
the next ten years includes more research and productivity, boosting of infrastructures and
increases in the market share of both passengers and goods.
In fact, trains transform the lifestyle of Italians with “anti-crisis” travel solutions, a flexible offer
with respect to demand and 12 and a half million passengers who have chosen to travel High
Speed from January to mid-July.
