Il lago di Garda è il bacino lacustre<br />
più grande d'Italia, con una superficie<br />
di 370 Km² e un perimetro di 160<br />
Km². Apprezzato fin dai tempi dei<br />
Romani, che lo chiamavano Benacus,<br />
è il lago alpino italiano più interessante,<br />
grazie alla varietà della vegetazione<br />
e alla presenza di microclimi.<br />
La parte a nord è circondata dalle<br />
robuste spalle di catene montuose,<br />
mentre a sud il paesaggio si distende<br />
nella pianura padana. È qui che<br />
si trovano i parchi di divertimenti più<br />
famosi e più grandi d'Italia, da Gardaland<br />
a Movieland, fino ai parchi<br />
acquatici e a fastosi giardini.<br />

Schon die Römer liebten ihn und<br />
nannten ihn “Benacus”. Dank einer<br />
abwechslungsreichen Vegetation<br />
und des unterschiedlichen Mikroklimas<br />
ist er tatsächlich der interessanteste<br />
Alpensee.<br />
Der nördliche Teil ist von hohen<br />
Bergketten umgeben, während sich<br />
gegen Süden verlaufend die Landschaft<br />
der Poebene öffnet. Hier befinden<br />
sich die bekanntesten und<br />
größten Vergnügungsparks Italiens,<br />
Gardaland und Movieland, Wasserparks<br />
und üppige Gärten.<br />
Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy<br />
covering an area of 370 m2 with a circumference<br />
of 160 km. The ancient<br />
Romans loved it and they called<br />
it Benacus. This is still the most interesting<br />
alpine lake, thanks to the<br />
various flora and to the different<br />
microclimates. The northern part is<br />
surrounded by imposing mountains,<br />
whereas the Po Plain stretches south<br />
of it. There you will find the well<br />
known Italian amusement parks, as<br />
for example Gardaland and Movieland,<br />
waterparks and lush gardens.<br />
