La Fondazione Germano Chincherini,
prende il nome dal fondatore
della Parc Hotels Italia, scomparso
prematuramente nel giugno 2000.
È stata costituita dalla moglie, Helena
Malm, che ha così rispettato le
volontà testamentarie del marito, assumendone
così la Presidenza a vita.
La Fondazione Germano Chincherini,
riconosciuta come ONLUS (Organizzazione
Non Lucrativa di Utilità
Sociale) dal Ministero delle Finanze
e iscritta all'albo degli enti beneficiari
del 5 per mille, ha fatto molto per
aiutare i bambini e i giovani disagiati
del Terzo Mondo a guadagnarsi un
avvenire sereno, operando anche a
sostegno delle istituzioni laiche e religiose
impegnate a portare soccorso
nelle zone più povere del mondo.
Negli ultimi anni, la Fondazione ha
costruito, in collaborazione con altre
fondazioni, una scuola elementare
cattolica e due orfanotrofi a Ukunda,
in Kenya, che a regime ospiteranno
72 bambini, ha realizzato un pozzo
d'acqua potabile per un altro villaggio
keniota, si è impegnata per
promuovere i sostegni a distanza,
ha sostenuto attivamente l'opera dei
missionari comboniani e ha portato
sollievo a situazioni di disagio in alcuni
comuni del lago.

Die “Fondazione Germano Chincherini“
wurde nach dem Gründer
der Parc Hotels Italia Hotelkette
benannt, der vor einigen Jahren
frühzeitig verstorben ist, und von
seiner Gemahlin, Frau Helena Malm,
gegründet. Sie hat so mit absoluter
Treue und Hingabe seine Wünsche
berücksichtigt und das Amt der Präsidentschaft
auf Lebenszeit übernommen.
Die “Fondazione Germano Chincherini“
wurde vom Italienischen
Finanzministerium als ONLUS (Organizzazione
Non Lucrativa di Utilità
Sociale, d.h. eine nicht gewinnorientierte
Organisation für soziale
Zwecke) anerkannt; sie hat in den
letzten Jahren viel unternommen,
um Kindern und Jugendlichen in der
Dritten Welt eine sorglose Zukunft
zu garantieren, auch durch Unterstützung
von anderen weltlichen und
religiösen Organisationen, die dieselben
Ziele verfolgen.
Die Organisation hat in Ukunda,
Kenya in Kollaboration mit anderen
Stiftungen eine Grundschule und ein
Kinderheim für mehr als 40 Kinder
gebaut. Sie hat desweiteren einen
Brunnen für sauberes Trinkwasser in
einem anderen Dorf in Kenya realisiert.
Sie hat aktiv die Fernadoption
gefördert und die Arbeit der Comboni
Missionare unterstützt.
Auch in Italien unterstützt sie notleidende
Menschen rund um den Gardasee.
Und es kann noch mehr getan werden
in Zukunft, auch dank Ihrer Hilfe.
The “Fondazione Germano
Chincherini” is named after Parc Hotels
Italia's founder, who prematurely
died in June 2000. It was established
by his wife, Helena Malm, owner of
Parc Hotels Italia hotel chain, who
thus abode by her late husband's
will. Mrs. Malm also assumed the life
presidency.
The “Fondazione Germano
Chincherini” was recognized as a
non-profit organization by the Italian
finance ministry and was put on the
register of the organizations entitled
to a tax-free donation of five per
thousand of income. Over the years,
it has accomplished a great deal for
helping destitute children and young
people in Third-World countries
build a better future for themselves,
in partnership with both secular and
religious charities that help people
in the poorest areas in the world.
Over the past years, the organization
has built a catholic elementary
school and two orphanage in Ukunda,
Kenya, housing 70 children in
all in collaboration with other foundations;
has made a drinking water
well in another Kenyan village; has
helped promoting child sponsorship;
has actively supported the
work of Comboni missionaries; has
brought relief to ailing people in
some villages in Lake Garda.
And we can do even more in the future
with your help.
