Account<br />
Un nome utente e (<strong>di</strong> solito) una password, che permettono l’accesso a un file con un livello<br />

Active Directory<br />
In Windows, il servizio <strong>di</strong> <strong>di</strong>rectory <strong>di</strong>stribuito, incluso nei sistemi operativi Microsoft Windows<br />
<strong>Server</strong> moderni. La <strong>di</strong>rectory attiva fornisce una gestione centralizzata e sicura della rete.<br />
Admin Console<br />
L’applicazione utilizzata per configurare e amministrare <strong>FileMaker</strong> <strong>Server</strong>, lavorare con i database<br />
ospitati, visualizzare i dettagli sui client collegati e tenere traccia delle informazioni statistiche.<br />
Admin <strong>Server</strong><br />
Il componente software Filemaker <strong>Server</strong> che gestisce la <strong>di</strong>stribuzione degli altri componenti<br />
<strong>di</strong> Filemaker <strong>Server</strong> e visualizza Admin Console sui computer dei client per configurare<br />
Filemaker <strong>Server</strong>.<br />
Amministratore <strong>di</strong> gruppo<br />
Utente <strong>di</strong> <strong>FileMaker</strong> <strong>Server</strong> Advanced a cui l’amministratore server ha delegato l’autorità <strong>di</strong> eseguire<br />
operazioni <strong>di</strong> amministrazione del database nella Admin Console. L’amministratore <strong>di</strong> gruppo<br />
gestisce i database associati ad uno specifico gruppo <strong>di</strong> amministratori e non ha accesso alle<br />
sezioni <strong>di</strong> configurazione della Admin Console. Vedere la sezione Amministratore server.<br />
Amministratore server<br />
L’amministratore server è responsabile dell’installazione e della configurazione <strong>di</strong> <strong>FileMaker</strong><br />
<strong>Server</strong>, nonché della gestione dei database <strong>di</strong> <strong>FileMaker</strong> Pro e delle soluzioni ospitate su<br />
<strong>FileMaker</strong> <strong>Server</strong>. L’amministratore server per <strong>FileMaker</strong> <strong>Server</strong> Advanced può anche delegare<br />
le attività <strong>di</strong> gestione del database all’amministratore <strong>di</strong> gruppo. Vedere la sezione<br />

API (Application Programming Interface)<br />

Applicazione client<br />
L’applicazione che richiede dati da un’origine dati. Esempi: <strong>FileMaker</strong> Pro, quando accede ad<br />
un database ospitato da <strong>FileMaker</strong> <strong>Server</strong>, e un foglio elettronico, quando richiede dati usando<br />
SQL tramite ODBC o JDBC.<br />
