The closed-loop cooling of the drive takes place
through a system already widely used in the industry,
with a water/air exchanger pump fitted with a reserve
pump with warning signals of any problems and a
guarantee of continuity in use.
Moreover, the improved thermal inertia of the cooling
liquid permits the semiconductors to work with
smaller thermal shocks, thereby increasing reliability
over time, such as the reduced amount of dust that
generally enters ventilated or conditioned containers
(just think about such installations in the south of Italy
and in dusty places). All this, thanks also to the use of
film capacitors, lowers maintenance costs and allows
for increased competitiveness in the proposed extension
of the warranty to 20 years.
Finally we should mention the reduced consumption of a
pump (about 600W) compared to the traditional conditioning
or fans widely used by the competition (up to
9kW); over 20 years such levels of consumption make a
significant difference to the ROI of a photovoltaic system.
In addition to the 1MW container presented at the fair
there will be versions available from 500 kW (with a
SolarGate PV8M580) and a 1.5 MW version (with
SolarGate PV8M860 No.2), all presented with the
current MIRO function to maximise the European efficiency
of the plant.
In conclusion, the presentation of the "water container"
sits perfectly in line with the innovations that
Answer Drives Srl has been pursuing since the early
days of photovoltaic product development, with an
eye to the domestic market but also increasingly to foreign
markets, where Ansaldo Sistemi Industriali has a
significant presence.
For next year, Research and Development is already
considering lower power outdoor drives to cope with
power stations which are increasingly equipped with
trackers that allow equal ROI with decreasing incentive
rates. An increasingly attractive challenge for the
renewable energy market which is continually growing
in numbers, unthinkable a few years back.
INNOVATION
ampi terreni polverosi).
anno fa impensabili.
