Il target sono i piccoli impianti fotovoltaici basati sull’energia solare per fornire elettricità alle
abitazioni nelle zone rurali delle aree West e Central Africa.
AFRIK ORIENTAL GHANA LTD. PORTA IMMERGAS IN AFRICA
Siglato un accordo commerciale con la società di Accra guidata da Ahmed Mohammed Hassan.
Brescello (Italia), Accra (Ghana), 16 novembre 2012 - La Immergas, leader in Italia nella progettazione e
costruzione di caldaie a gas per uso domestico, sia nel settore delle caldaie tradizionali che in quello delle caldaie
a condensazione, attiva nel settore delle energie rinnovabili (solare termico e fotovoltaico), ha stretto un
importante accordo con la compagnia “Afrik Oriental Ghana Ltd.” per sviluppare, dal 2013, nuove aree di
business nei territori africani dove Immergas non è ancora presente. A guidare la Afrik Oriental Ghana Ltd., che
ha sede nella capitale della Repubblica del Ghana, la metropoli di Accra, sarà l’Ambasciatore del Ghana in Iran S.
E. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan, che terminerà il mandato diplomatico nei prossimi mesi. L’area d’azione che la
Afrik Oriental Ghana Ltd. seguirà per conto di Immergas comprende molti paesi dell’Africa Centrale (11 Paesi) e
Occidentale (16 Paesi), con possibilità di sviluppo anche nelle zone limitrofe.
“Vogliamo valutare nuove possibili aree di sviluppo - commenta il Vicepresidente di Immergas Alfredo Amadei - e
con la creazione della la nuova direzione IBD (International Business Development) ci stiamo strutturando per
avviare test in diverse aree del mondo”. Andrea Benassi guida il team International Business Develpment di
Immergas e lavora con grande attenzione ai Paesi caldi dove i prodotti legati al riscaldamento a gas devono
lasciare il passo alle soluzioni legate al solare termico e al fotovoltaico, anche con piccoli impianti per fornire
energia elettrica con sistemi “stand alone” (fino a 230 Wp) alle abitazioni lontane dalle reti urbane.
“Ma Immergas non si ferma qui – spiega Andrea Benassi – e ha anche sviluppato sistemi capaci di alimentare
pompe per il sollevamento dell’acqua, stazioni informatiche, per le telecomunicazioni oppure gli elettrodomestici
senza ricorrere ai generatori diesel quindi con molti vantaggi in termini di costi e sostenibilità”. L’accordo con la
Afrik Oriental Ghana Ltd. di Accra è un banco di prova basato su sondaggi di mercato che hanno già dato risultati
incoraggianti in Mozambico, Etiopia e Marocco.

Nata nel 1964 e specializzatasi rapidamente nella progettazione e costruzione di caldaie a gas per uso domestico,
Immergas è oggi una realtà in costante espansione. La sede di Brescello (RE) conta un organico di oltre 600
dipendenti e una superficie coperta di oltre 50.000 metri quadrati. Dal 1998 Immergas è brand leader in Italia
nel settore delle caldaie a gas tradizionali e dal 2002 lo è anche nel campo delle caldaie a condensazione, un

AFRIK ORIENTAL GHANA LTD. TAKES IMMERGAS TO AFRICA
Signed a commercial agreement with the company in Accra led by Ahmed Mohammed Hassan.
Brescello (Italy), Accra (Ghana), 16th November 2012 - Immergas, the Italian leader in the design and
construction of gas boilers for domestic use, both in the traditional and in the condensing sector, active in the
field of renewable energy (solar thermal and photovoltaic), has entered into an agreement with "Oriental Afrik
Ghana Ltd." to develop, starting from 2013, new areas of business in the African territories where Immergas is
not present yet.
Leading the Oriental Afrik Ghana Ltd., located in the capital of the Republic of Ghana, the city of Accra, will be
the Ambassador of Ghana in Iran H. E. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan, when his diplomatic term will end in the
forthcoming months. The area of action that Afrik Oriental Ghana Ltd will follow on behalf of Immergas includes
many countries of Central Africa (11 countries) and Western Africa (16 countries), with the possibility of
development also in the surrounding areas.
"We want to evaluate new possible areas of development - says the vice president of Immergas Alfredo Amadei -
and with the creation of the new IBD direction (International Business Development) we are getting organized to
start tests in different areas of the world." Andrea Benassi manages Immergas International Business
Development team and works with great attention to the countries where the products related to gas heating
must give way to the benefits associated with solar thermal and solar power, even with small plants to provide
electricity with "stand alone" systems (up to 230 Wp) to homes far away from urban networks.
"But Immergas does not stop here - says Andrea Benassi - has also developed a system capable of powering
pumps for water lifting, computer stations, telecommunications equipment or appliances without the use of diesel
generators with many advantages in terms of cost and sustainability”. The agreement with the Oriental Afrik
Ghana Ltd. Accra is a test based on market surveys that have shown promising results in Mozambique, Ethiopia
and Morocco.

IMMERGAS
Founded in 1964, Immergas developed from its establishment the highest specialization in engineering and
manufacturing household gas boilers, today it is a constantly growing company, with a staff of over 600 people
