DANGER – TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTROCUTION:<br />

1. Always un<strong>pl</strong>ug this ap<strong>pl</strong>iance immediately after using.<br />

2. Do not use while bathing.<br />

3. Do not <strong>pl</strong>ace or store ap<strong>pl</strong>iance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub of sink.<br />

4. Do not <strong>pl</strong>ace in or drop into water or other liquid.<br />

5. Do not reach for an ap<strong>pl</strong>iance that has fallen into water. Un<strong>pl</strong>ug immediately.<br />

FUNCTION AND FEATURES<br />

The travel steam iron is a new product, which combines dry and steam ironing. The unique design makes<br />

this iron ideal for travelling. This unit also substitutes dual voltage (worldwide compatible)<br />

SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS<br />

1. Read the instruments manual carefully before operating this ap<strong>pl</strong>iance.<br />

2. This product is used for ironing clothes.<br />

3. Please check if the power cord, <strong>pl</strong>ug, socket and iron are in good order, if broken, stop using immidiately<br />

and make it repaired at an authorized service-station.<br />

4. Don’t immerse iron into water or other liquids to avoid leakage.<br />

5. Please keep the iron out of reach of children, and if turned on never leave it unsupervised to avoid any<br />

danger.<br />

6. Don’t <strong>pl</strong>ug in the unit before pouring water in or out.<br />

7. Keep the power cord away from the hot sole<strong>pl</strong>ate to avoid damage.<br />

8. Always if check the voltage selector is the same as the local voltage level.<br />

9. After ironing, un<strong>pl</strong>ug the unit, turn off the steam and temperature button and <strong>pl</strong>ace it upright.<br />

ATTENTION:<br />

1. Do not use more than two electrical ap<strong>pl</strong>iances with big power consumption in one circuit at the same<br />

time to avoid overloading.<br />

2. Do not use power cord more than 10A for extension.<br />

PREPERATION BEFORE USE:<br />

1. Clean the sole<strong>pl</strong>ate and the steam holes.<br />

2. Filling water (See diagram 7)<br />

3. Learn function of thermostat (See diagram 3)<br />

4. Flatten clothes before ironing (See diagram 4)<br />

FILLING THE WATER TANK<br />

1. Un<strong>pl</strong>ug the iron (See diagram 1)<br />

2. Put the steam switch to “0” postion, and stand the handle upright. (See diagram 5/6)<br />

3. Open the rubber lid and fill up to the maximum level “MAX” of the water tank. (See diagram 7)<br />

Note: Always empty the water tank after use. (See diagram 8)<br />

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DRY IRONING:<br />

1. Choose the voltage neccesary for the local area.<br />

(See Diagram 16-17 to choose the right voltage level)<br />

Warning: Adjust the correct votage before <strong>pl</strong>ugging the unit.<br />

2. Plug in the unit and close the steam switch.<br />

3. Adjust temperature scale according to the fiber you are ironing.<br />

4. Lift the spray button continously to spray water on the clothes or ironing.<br />

5. Start ironing after indication light turns off (the sole<strong>pl</strong>ate is heated).<br />

6. Close the thermostat and un<strong>pl</strong>ug the after use.<br />

INSTRUCTIONS FOR STEAM IRONING:<br />

1. Choose the voltage neccesary for the local area. (See Diagram 16-17 to choose the right voltage level)<br />

Warning: Adjust the correct votage before <strong>pl</strong>ugging the unit.<br />

2. Plug in the unit and set to steam function.<br />

3. Adjust temperature scale to max position and heat the unit.<br />

(See Diagram 12)<br />

4. After the indication light turned off, set the the steam button to “ ” position. (See Diagram 13)<br />

5. Start ironing shortly after the steam burst. (See Diagram 14)<br />

6. Close the thermostat and un<strong>pl</strong>ug the unit the after use.<br />

CLEANING AND MAINTENACE:<br />

1. Fill water to half position of tank and put the iron on holder.<br />

2. Choose the voltage neccesary for the local area. (See Diagram 16-17 to choose the right voltage level)<br />

Warning: Adjust the correct votage before <strong>pl</strong>ugging the unit.<br />

3. Plug the unit and set the thermostat scale to max. position.<br />

4. The indication light will turn off as soon the unit has reached the desired heat.<br />

5. Un<strong>pl</strong>ug and set the the steam button to “0” position. The steam burst wil clean unit and wait until the water<br />

is com<strong>pl</strong>etly evaporated.<br />

6. Close the steam button and heat the iron.<br />

7. Iron an old cloth, until the iron is com<strong>pl</strong>etly dry. (water tank empty)<br />

8. Close the thermostat control and un<strong>pl</strong>ug the ap<strong>pl</strong>iance.<br />

9. Cool down the iron and clean it with a soft damp cloth.<br />

10. Press release button and tilt the handgrip 90 degrees.<br />
