The argumentation of Archeonet is to make possible, through a<br />
radical rethink of strategies of national territorial marketing, the proposal<br />
of a new tourist offer for Italy, where Heritage and Leisure play<br />
a balanced and complementary role, having an effect on Landscape<br />
through actions which are sustainable and eco-friendly and, at the<br />
same time, innovative and transformative.<br />
The oPerative tool to use to systematize Archaeology, Landscape<br />
and Tourism is the widesPread MUseUM: a new pattern<br />
of preservation and promotion that is created by a series of concrete<br />
actions that involve institutions, managerial corporations and investors.<br />
The historical architectures and the naturalistic wonders of our<br />
country are inserted in a continue network of museums organized<br />
on a large territory, configuring a new management system able to<br />
preserve, valorise and promote the Italian heritage.<br />
Research phases. The research proceeds through subsequent mappings<br />
of the territory: from Europe, to Italy, to the paradigmatic case<br />
study of the Liguria region.<br />
eUroPe - MaPs and Plots. Open air Museums, Eco-museums,<br />
Archaeological Museums and Parks are all changing the strengthened<br />
and a little outdated idea that we’ve always had about archaeology.<br />
Starting from the mapping of the most interesting case studies,<br />
where archaeological heritage, naturalistic landscape and offer of<br />
general services are connected to each others by a network made<br />
up of infrastructures, architectures and well-advanced management<br />
patterns, one investigates into the patterns through which European<br />
people are organizing networks of museums and integrated systems<br />
of territorial management.<br />
italy - MaPs and Plots. Even if the Widespread Museum is<br />
not a juridical pattern in Italy, on the territory there already exist 17<br />
integrated systems of heritage, museum and landscape that are called<br />
Widespread Museums. These new realities are analyzed using the<br />
same parameters of the European case studies, in order to find both<br />
their strengths and weaknesses and their managerial and economical<br />
