Aspettando l ’estate…
L’estate nelle Dolomiti Bellunesi è pronta a regalarvi mille opportunità per
vivere il territorio secondo le vostre esigenze: dall’arrampicata sportiva,
alle passeggiate in alta quota, dai musei d’arte alle passeggiate a cavallo…
ma l’estate in provincia di Belluno porta con sé anche una nutrita schiera
di eventi. Sono numerosi i mercatini dell’antiquariato, ma l’evento da non
perdere è la XXI Mostra Regionale dell’Artigianato Artistico e Tradizionale
“Città di Feltre” (5-8/07). Continuano gli appuntamenti con le visite
guidate de Tesori d’arte nelle chiese dell’alto bellunese, mentre con le ex
tempore a Costalta di San pietro di Cadore, Dosoledo (Comelico Superiore),
Auronzo di Cadore, Sappada e ponte nelle Alpi assisterete dal vivo alla
nascita di vere opere d’arte.
A Cortina d’Ampezzo tornano i seguitissimi eventi di Cortina in-con-tra,
a pieve di Cadore si svolgerà il Cadore Doc Film Festival e ad Arabba la
premiazione della decima edizione del Premio Pelmo d’Oro per la valorizzazione
delle Dolomiti Bellunesi.
per gli appassionati di musica, da non perdere il 12˚ Festival Internazionale
della Fisarmonica (19-22/07, a Longarone, Cencenighe, Feltre, San vito di
Cadore) e le feste delle bande a Cortina d’Ampezzo, San vito ed Auronzo
di Cadore.

A luglio al Castello di Zumelle (mel) si rivive l’antica Fiera medievale della
Perdonanza, il 4 e 5 agosto ritorna il Palio di Feltre con cortei storici e gare
tra i quartieri. Sfida delle contrade anche al palio dei Cento di Agordo
ed al palio dei Sestieri di Cortina. Ancora feste del folklore a Sappada
(28/07), rocca pietore (6-8/07) e pieve di Livinallongo (15/08).
per gli sportivi, tappa ad Arabba il 18-19 luglio per la gara ciclistica
Transalp ed a Cortina il 29 per la competizione Cortina–Dobbiaco di MTB, i
cui campionati si terranno in Alpago. A metà luglio Sella Ronda Bike day,
con chiusura al traffico automobilistico dei passi dolomitici attorno al
Sella. Numerose anche le marce di alta montagna, come la Transcivetta
(15/07 ad Alleghe), Sali&scendi marmolada (rocca pietore), Camignada
poi sié refuge (Auronzo), Dolomiti park road e le competizioni podistiche
internazionali (miglio internazionale e Giro delle mura Città di Feltre, miglia
di Agordo). A luglio il cavallo è protagonista nelle Dolomiti Horse’s Game
(Agordino) e nei concorsi ippici di Cortina d’Ampezzo e Feltre. L’elenco

Looking ahead to the summer…
Summer in the Belluno Dolomites is all set to offer you a huge variety
of opportunities to enjoy the area doing what you like best: from sport
climbing to high-mountain walks, from museums to horse riding….
There will also be a wide range of special events to choose from in the
province of Belluno this summer. There are a large number of antiques
markets to visit, but the really unmissable event is the 21st Edition of the
“City of Feltre Traditional Regional Arts and Crafts Exhibition”, which takes
place from the 5th to the 8th of July. And then there are the guided
tours of Tesori d’arte nelle chiese dell’alto bellunese (Art treasures in
the churches of the North of Belluno); while at the ex tempore sculpture
competitions in Costalta di San pietro di Cadore, Dosoledo (Comelico Superiore),
Auronzo di Cadore, Sappada and ponte nelle Alpi you can watch
real works of art come to life before your very eyes. Cortina d’Ampezzo
will once again welcome the extremely popular current affairs event
Cortina in-con-tra, whilst in pieve di Cadore the Cadore Doc Film Festival
will be held, and Arabba will host the tenth edition of the Pelmo d’Oro,
a ceremony which gives a series of awards to people and organizations
who have helped to promote the Belluno Dolomites.
music fans must not miss the 12th International Accordion Festival (19th-
22nd July) in Longarone, Cencenighe, Feltre and San vito di Cadore, or
the bands festivals in Cortina d’Ampezzo, San vito and Auronzo di Cadore.

in July, visitors to Zumelle Castle (mel) can enjoy a re-enactment of
the ancient mediaeval Pardoning Fair, while the 4th and 5th of August
sees the return of the Palio di Feltre, with historical parades and the
traditional horse races where the four quarters of the city compete
against each other. Similar events are the “palio dei Cento” in Agordo and
the “palio dei Sestieri” in Cortina. Other interesting folk festivals include
those held in Sappada (28th July), rocca pietore (6th-8th July) and
pieve di Livinallongo (15th August).
For sports fans, the Transalp cycle race will be held in Arabba on the
18th-19th July, and on the 29th of the same month Cortina will play
host to the Cortina-Dobbiaco Mountain Bike Race; the mTB championships
will take place in Alpago. in mid-July, visitors can attend the Sella Ronda
Bike day, when the mountain passes around the Sella will be closed to
car traffic. There will also be numerous high-mountain races, such as the
Transcivetta (15th July in Alleghe), Sali&scendi marmolada (rocca pietore),
Camignada poi sié refuge (Auronzo), Dolomiti park road and international
running competitions such as the miglio internazionale, Giro delle
mura Città di Feltre and miglia di Agordo. in July it is the turn of horses
and riders, with Dolomiti Horse’s Game (Agordino area) and the equestrian
events of Cortina d’Ampezzo and Feltre. A full list of events can be

una visita alla Casa Natale di Tiziano a Pieve di Cadore: un’opportunità per rivivere l’atmosfera
del tempo e pregustare le affascinanti opere che saranno esposte dal 15 settembre presso
le sale di palazzo Crepadona di Belluno e all’Auditorium COS.mO. di pieve. Saranno esposte
stampe ed incisioni dei dipinti dell’artista e riproduzioni dei carteggi tra il pittore e la
magnifica Comunità di Cadore.

to the house where the great artist from the Cadore was born, in pieve di Cadore?
it offers a fine opportunity to soak in the atmosphere of the time and whets
your appetite for seeing the wonderful works which will be on show from 15th
September in palazzo Crepadona. On the walls of the house, you can admire prints
and engravings of Titian’s work as well as reproductions of letters exchanged by the
artist and the magnificent Community of Cadore.
