As it is our habit from many
years, the “ASSALI STEFEN bicycle
amateur group” organizes
once a year a tour choosing every
time a different country or region.
In 2006 Sicily had been chosen
for a 8 days tour: this choice resulted
to be outstanding for several
reason, some of them not
belonging to the official plan. .
Some of us had never seen the region
and we have really appreciated
the beauty of the landscape,
the magnificence of the sea, the
greatness of many cities with different
architectures, that bear witness
of a great historical past.
We also had a big surprise by visiting
the company MSA MEDI-
TERR SHOCK ABSORBERS in the
city of Caltanissetta.
We will never forget the great welcome
that had been prepared for
us, as well as the Managers’ and
employees’ helpfulness, that also
showed us the plant and the production
area.
We had been very positively impressed
by that beautiful facilities
– a remarkable economic reality
that will for sure bring huge welfare
in the area.
Now that this pleasant - but tiring-
“holiday” is over, we have to plan
the one for 2007, but we really do
not think it could be comparable
to the one of this year.
