approdano dal 14 al 17 febbraio al Javits Center di New
York per la grande fiera internazionale, diventata un

“Engage! Expo” affianca la Toy Fair
negli ultimi due giorni di svolgimento
ed è l’occasione per avere
accesso ad anteprime sulle tecnologie,
i trend e le innovazioni più
recenti che questo settore in rapida
evoluzione ha da offrire. Grande
attenzione è riservata al tema
ambientale con l’allestimento di una
Earth Friendly Product Zone all’interno
della fiera per favorire il
contatto tra i produttori di giochi
ecocompatibili e i negozianti interessati.

assegnati gli award Toy of the Year
(TOTY), ovvero gli “Oscar” dell’industria
del giocattolo, che premiano la

A tradition in the annual buying cycle and the largest
toy and youth marketplace in the western hemisphere,
American International Toy Fair takes place from
Sunday, February 14th to Wednesday, February 17th,
2010 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City
Whether you are a buyer an exhibitor, a trade professional
or a member of the media, Toy Fair 2010 has it all!
Boasting an array of products that are not shown at any
other toy show in the world, Toy Fair remains a primary
source of new, innovative, creative and exciting product
launches. It sits at the heart of the $22B US marketplace
and boasts more than 1,200 exhibiting companies from
around the world, showing more than 100,000 products.There's
a lot happening at Toy Fair 2010 including
educational seminars, drop-in learning centres and
special events.“Engagement” was identified as one of
the top four toy trends during Toy Fair 2009, which
makes the co-location of Engage! Expo, at the Javits
Convention Center over the last two days of Toy Fair, very
relevant for TF10 attendees wishing to gain further
insight into the latest technologies, trends and innovations
that this rapidly evolving sector has to offer.There is
also a green theme to Toy Fair, with the introduction of
an “Earth-Friendly Product Zone” - a new space on the
show floor that will allow exhibitors with environmentally
friendly toys to connect more easily with retailers
who seek these specialised products. Additionally, a host
of new technology-driven features designed to make
show navigation easier and more efficient, while also
reducing the event’s carbon footprint, will also be
launched. Up to date information on safety and regulatory
issues will be presented during a Safety Update
Seminar (Monday 15th February), and a Toy Safety
Certification Program® (TSCP) Presentation will explore
why and how TSCP will help companies meet CPSC and
CPSIA requirements.The 10th annual Toy of the Year
(TOTY) Awards will also be held Saturday 13th February.
