CANALINA IN DURALENE ®
Si monta sempre a freddo
INSERTO IN PVC
in quanto l’elevato coefficiente d’attrito bloccherebbe
l’operazione dopo pochi
centimetri.
Il profilo deve essere
scaldato e calzato,
incastrandolo nella
guida sfruttando
l’elasticità dovuta al
calore.
FOR SETTING
FLANGE FITTING SYSTEM
The PVC rub profile (insert) must be boiled in
80° C (not over) water for about 20-60 minutes
according to PVC rub profile section.
A 200 litres drum (half filled up with water)
placed on an industrial methane-gas-stove is
usually used.
The drum must be equipped with wheels to
allow its movement with the operator during
rub profile setting phase. In this way the rub
profile will be out of the water the less possible
time avoiding its cooling before fitting.
One litre of gasoline added to the hot water will
make the rub profile slippery allowing a faster
setting. (This regards only boats with box
junction system, where rub profile must be
assembled together with its own track).
PVC can be easily cleaned by a rag moist with
acetone.
During setting phase, the rub profile can be
lightly stretched without exceeding (there
should be a 2% of the total length left).
Rub profile with very large section (L35-L45-
L50) require further stretching on very sharp
bends and in order to keep the rub profile
compressed during its cooling two clamps with
two pieces of ply-wood can be used.
Each rub profile type has its own finishing
accessories: end-cups and joints covers.
FLAT FITTING SYSTEM
Box junction system profiles are supplied in
metres length and completed (track + insert)
DURALENE ® RIGID TRACK
It is always fitted cold
SHOCK-PROOF PVC
Inserts to be boiled before fitting on the track,
following the usual procedure.
ATTENTION PLEASE: Any kind of fender PVC
profile cannot be let slid on supports and tracks
as the high friction coefficient would stop this
operation after few centimetres. The soft PVC
profile must be boiled and fitted on the track
taking advantage of its elasticity due to warmth.
