Cuscinetti radiali a sfere a
sono montati in contrapposizione;
questo agevola l'introduzione di un
maggior numero di sfere e un
appoggio laterale alle sfere,
aumentando così il carico assiale che
deve però essere applicato in una sola
direzione altrimenti il cuscinetto si
scompone. Per aumentare le
prestazioni i cuscinetti devono essere
montati in coppia in tandem per
aumentare il già notevole coefficiente
di carico, oppure contrapposti per
poter sopportare carichi assiali in
entrambe le direzioni.
Il disallineamento comporta aumento
di rumorosità e diminuzione di durata.
I cuscinetti sono forniti con gabbie in
lamierino stampato di acciaio, in
ottone, o in poliammide rinforzata.
Single row angular
contact bearings
Single row angular contact bearings
are studied and manufactured to stand
axial and radial loads.
They have a contact angle =40°,
therefore able to bear heavy loads.
Rings have a special shape: their
grooves are low from one side and righ
from the other, they are mounted in
opposition; this allows the insertion of
a greater number of balls and a side
support to balls, increasing therefore
the axial load which must be applied
in a single direction to avoid
dismounting of the bearing.
To increase bearings' performances
they have to be mounted paired in
tandem: rating load is in this way
considerably increased.
They can also be mounted in
opposition: in this way they stand axial
loads in both directions.
Misalignment produces increasement
of noiseness and shorter life of the
bearing.
Single row angular contact ball
bearings, are fitted with pressed sheet
steel cages, brass cages or reinforced
polyamid cages.
