Materiale usato per la gabbia
I tipi di gabbie variano a seconda delle
condizioni di utilizzo.
Le più comuni risultano essere le
gabbie costruite in lamiera di acciaio
stampato.
Altri tipi sono prodotti con ottone o,
nel caso in cui si verifichi
un'applicazione che comporti alte
velocità, con resine poliammidiche
rinforzate.
Trattamento termico
Solitamenti i cuscinetti sono in grado
di sopportare temperature massime
di +120°C.
Se questo limite viene superato, i
cuscinetti devono essere assoggettati
a speciali trattamenti termici.
I cuscinetti chiusi, tipo 2RS, dovrebbero
essere utilizzati a temperature massime
di +80°C.
Nel caso in cui la temperatura vada al
di sopra di questo limite, l'efficacia dei
lubrificanti e delle tenute è molto
ridotta.

Cage materials
Different types of cages are
determined by the operating
conditions.
The most common are made of pressed
steel.
For high speeds applications,
reinforced polyamid cages are
manufactured; for other employment
brass cages are used.
Heat treatment
Bearings are usually able to stand a
maximum temperature of +120°.
In the case of higher temperature,
bearings with special heat treatments
should be used.
Sealed bearings, 2RS type, should be
used at operating temperatures up to
+80°.
If the temperature is higher, the
efficacy of lubricants and seals is
considerably reduced.
