Our portal, www.laspola.com, is celebrating its third birthday. And precisely during this round of fairs, it has established itself as the only web space
dedicated exclusively to the world of textile clothing. Even as a paper magazine, first created in the 1990s, it proved itself as the only example of a
publication focused on Italian textile districts, with correspondents directly on site. In 2009 La Spola became a portal where sector experts can interact,
find news, publish announcements, communicate with colleagues or place advertisements. On the brink of its third birthday laspola.com is more
present at fairs than ever before and despite its brief resume, it boasts official media partner agreements with Europe’s most important fairs, not least
of which the Barcelona edition of Itma. Yet, we’ve also gone beyond continental borders thanks to agreements centered around the last edition of
Caitme in Uzbekistan. There’s even a prize for faithful users and the 4,000 registered members who receive our daily newsletter which reaches all
five continents thanks to stable contacts in northern Africa, China and the United States. ‘From fabric to the web’ is the slogan that accompanied
the site’s official launch. It’s a unifying symbol linking Internet’s present-future to textile traditions. And it’s also the slogan we confirm today, as the
web systematically expands to include all computerized support systems having an internet connection, from telephones and palm pilots to personal
computers and new-generation tablets.
Si avvia verso il terzo compleanno il nostro portale www.laspola.com, che proprio in occasione di questa tornata fieristica si conferma l’unico spazio web dedicato
esclusivamente al mondo del tessile abbigliamento.
Nata negli anni ’90 come rivista cartacea, anche in quel caso unico esempio di focus sui distretti tessili italiani con corrispondenti direttamente in loco, La Spola
è diventata dal 2009 un portale con il quale gli addetti ai lavori possono interagire per trovare notizie, pubblicare annunci, comunicare con i colleghi o inserire
pubblicità. Ed alla soglia del terzo compleanno laspola.com è più che mai presente alle fiere e può annoverare nel pur breve curriculum vitae accordi di mediapartnership
ufficiali con le fiere più importanti d’Europa, non ultima l’edizione barcellonese di Itma. Ma abbiamo varcato anche i confini continentali con accordi
per l’ultima edizione di Caitme in Uzbekistan. Un premio anche per i fedeli utenti e per i quattromila iscritti alla nostra newsletter giornaliera, che raggiunge tutti
i cinque continenti, con contatti ormai stabili dal nord dell’Africa, dalla Cina e dagli Stati Uniti. Dalla tela alla rete è lo slogan che ha accompagnato il lancio
ufficiale del sito per simboleggiare l’unione tra l’attualità-futuro di Internet e la tradizione tessile. Ed è anche lo slogan che confermiamo adesso, con la rete ormai
sistematicamente estesa a tutti i supporti informatici con connessione a Internet, dai telefoni ai palmari, dai pc ai tablet di ultima generazione.
