it can be re-used as an information kiosk or as a car park
payment machine. In designing it, in fact, criteria like Cradle
to Cradle or C2C, were followed, where the design is based
on eco-design, on the separation of the product cycle from
the biological cycle and where rental is preferred over sale.
6 FonteAlma enhances the environment.
By choosing FonteAlma a town reduces the environmental
impact in its territory and also lowers the costs from waste
disposal and the transportation of disposable PET bottles, it
also makes the best use of your resources and your territory,
upgrading the areas where FonteAlma is installed. It is no
coincidence that many municipalities adhering to the Covenant
of Mayors have inserted in their SEAPs (Sustainable
Energy Action Plans) the water kiosks as one of the tools
that are helpful in lowering climate change emissions.
7 FonteAlma provides an extremely lowcost
service for the general public. Thanks
to FonteAlma the general public will be able to benefit from
low cost water, making huge savings compared to buying
bottled water.
All this without taking into account the cost of transporting
and managing the bottles.
Recently three FonteAlma Water Kiosks were offered to the
towns in Emilia hit by the earthquake and installed in Medolla,
Concordia and San Possidonio. In this case the service

infatti sono stati seguiti criteri tipici del Cradle to
Cradle, o C2C, ovvero dalla culla alla culla, dove si progetta
basandosi sull’eco-design, sulla separazione del ciclo di
prodotto dal ciclo biologico e dove si preferisce il noleggio
alla vendita.

the end of September. This was a small contribution to
help alleviate the discomfort of those whose homes
were damaged by the earthquake.
The FonteAlma water kiosk is also a modular and customisable
product. Its walls can be covered with panels
that can be used for advertisements. One example
is the kiosk installed in Ospedaletto di Coriano that has
been customised by Banca Malatestiana.
New solutions based on advanced eco-design and on
flexible technologies and that are suitable for improving
the service and reducing its already low environmental
impact, are being studied in partnership with
the Architecture and Eco-Design department of the
university of Camerino.

6 FonteAlma valorizza il territorio. Scegliendo
FonteAlma il Comune riduce l’impatto ambientale
nel suo territorio e i costi dovuti allo smaltimento
e al trasporto delle bottiglie monouso in PET, valorizza
inoltre le proprie risorse ed il proprio territorio, riqualificando
anche le zone dove il sistema FonteAlma viene
installato. Non è un caso che molti comuni aderenti al
Patto dei Sindaci hanno inserito nei loro PAES (piani per
l’energia sostenibile) le case dell’acqua fra gli strumenti
utili all’abbattimento delle emissioni climalteranti.
7 FonteAlma offre un servizio estremamente
economico per i cittadini.
Grazie a FonteAlma i cittadini potranno beneficiare di
un costo dell’acqua ridottissimo avendo così un sensibile
risparmio rispetto all’acqua acquistata in bottiglia.
Tutto ciò senza considerare costi di trasporto e gestione
delle bottiglie.
Recentemente tre Case dell’Acqua FonteAlma sono
state proposte ai Comuni terremotati dell’Emilia ed installate
a Medolla, Concordia e San Possidonio. In questo
caso il servizio è stato offerto gratis per l’estate fino
alla fine di settembre. un piccolo contributo ad alleviare
i disagi di chi si trova in difficoltà abitative a seguito del
terremoto.
La casa dell’acqua FonteAlma è inoltre un prodotto
modulabile e personalizzabile. Le pareti della stessa
possono essere rivestite con pannelli pubblicitari che
veicolano annunci pubblicitari e brand. un esempio è
la casetta installata a Ospedaletto di Coriano personalizzata
da Banca Malatestiana.
Nuove soluzioni basate su eco-design avanzato e su
tecnologie flessibili ed adatte a migliorare il servizio ed
a ridurre il suo già basso impatto ambientale, sono allo
studio grazie ad una collaborazione con la sezione di
Architettura ed eco-design dell’università di Camerino.
