Un gatto sull’albero / A Cat in the Tree<br />

In un piccolo villaggio, per sfuggire a un cane che lo insegue,<br />
un gattino si arrampica sull’albero in mezzo alla piazza e, spaventato,<br />
non vuole più scendere. Una bambina si arrampica a<br />
sua volta per aiutarlo, ma anche lei, impaurita, non riesce più<br />
a scendere. Suo padre appena la vede sale per prenderla, ma<br />
rimane anche lui bloccato in cima all’albero. La signora Paquita,<br />
che passa di là, comincia a strillare: «Pompieri, Pompieri!»<br />
Nella confusione, tra gli strilli <strong>della</strong> donna, le grida del padre, il<br />
pianto <strong>della</strong> bambina, il miagolio del gatto arriva il carro rosso<br />
dei pompieri, ma…<br />
In a small village, to escape from a dog who is following him, a<br />
little cat climbs the tree in the middle of a piazza and, terrifi ed, is<br />
unable to descend. As soon as he sees him, his father tries to help<br />
him get down, but he too remains blocked in the treetop. Mrs.<br />
Paquita, who is passing by, begins to shout “Firemen, fi remen!”.<br />
In the confusion, between the shouts of the woman, the shrieks<br />
of the father, the cries of the child, and the meows of the cat, the<br />
fi retruck arrives, but…<br />

in Arti Plastiche e Comunicazione<br />
all’École National de Beaux<br />
Arts di Lyon e ha conseguito un<br />
master in Espressioni Plastiche e<br />
Animazione all’École Supérieure de<br />
l’Image di Poitiers. Nel 2004 si è<br />
diplomato in Regia e Animazione<br />
“stop motion” al Centro de Estudios<br />
de Animación de Catalunya di<br />
Barcellona. In parallelo al cinema<br />
di animazione porta avanti la sua<br />
attività di illustratore di libri per<br />
bambini.<br />
Born in 1979 in France, he holds a<br />
diploma in plastic arts and communications<br />
from the École National<br />
de Beaux Arts in Lyon and a masters<br />
in plastic expressive arts and<br />
animation from the École Supérieure<br />
de l’Image in Poitiers. In 2004<br />
he earned a diploma in directing<br />
and “stop motion” animation from<br />
the Centro de Estudios de Animación<br />
de Catalunya in Barcelona.<br />
He also illustrates children’s books.<br />
