Mobile WiMAX sullo standard 802.16-2005 (precedentemente conosciuto<br />
come 802.16e).<br />
WiMAX è basato su OFDM-MIMO.<br />
OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex<strong>in</strong>g) e MIMO (Multiple<br />
Input Multiple Output) sono le tecnologie che <strong>in</strong>troducono un consistente<br />
miglioramento nella copertura ed efficienza <strong>di</strong> spettro rispetto alle altre<br />
tecnologie wireless; un miglioramento tale da aumentare <strong>di</strong> un fattore tre la<br />
