Tempo e predicazione nella sintassi delle frasi copulari (tesi di laurea)

2.2.3 LA GRAMMATICA FUNZIONALE
Una proposta, a mio avviso, molto interessante
riguardo al ruolo ed all"ipotesi di struttura delle
frasi col verbo ESSERE proviene dagli studi della cosiddetta
grammatica funzioale di Dik (d"ora in poi GF).
Un"analisi corretta dei risultati scaturiti da
questo complesso quadro teorico non dovrebbe essere
sganciata dal sistema globale entro il quale questi
risultati sono stati prodotti, tuttavia, mi sembra che
il contenuto intuitivo di questa proposta possa essere
comunque significativo e dotato di una sua evidenza in
un certo senso autonoma rispetto alle caratteristiche
esclusive e peculiari dell"intera teoria e possa dunque
essere proficuamente confrontato con le ipotesi di altre
scuole.
Per uno schizzo dell"impianto teorico generale mi
limito a riportare una sintetica presentazione, tratta
da Dik (1983), mentre per un quadro completo il riferimento
d"obbligo è il "manifesto" della GF che è Dik
(1978) .
"FG aims at developing a generai theory of the
syntactic and the semantic organization of natural
languages, on the basis of a functional perspective on
the nature of natural languages.
By functional perspective is meant that a language
is first and foremost conceptualized as an instrument of
communicative verbal interaction between speakers and
listeners, and that the semantic and the syntactic
organization of a language are taken to be subservient
to this pragmatic goal. From this point of view, the
following standards of adequacy are imposed on the
theory: FG should be pragmatically adequate ,i.e. it
should be capable of being integrated into a wider model
of verbal interaction; it should be psycologically
adeauate, i.e. comoatible with realistic psycologically
models cf language prccessing; and it should be
typologically adequate, i.e.capable of handling
different types of syntactic-semantics organization in
tarms of the same principles, rules, and conventions
