Invece i valori numerici in uscita dal codificatore sono<br />
soltanto 2 8 = 256.<br />
In un sistema di conversione UNIPOLARE le 256<br />
combinazioni rappresentano tutti i numeri interi<br />
compresi tra 0 (0000 0000) e 255 (1111 1111).<br />
Nel caso di un SISTEMA BIPOLARE il bit più significativo<br />
indica la polarità del segnale analogico:<br />
• 0 = segnali positivi, 1 = segnali negativi<br />
• gli altri 7 bit codificano l’ampiezza del<br />
segnale.<br />
