The system start
The SIKUCONTROL32 radio equipment has an automatic connection
system. You no longer have to select a channel as you
do with various other products. The remote control module and
the models connect with each other automatically and do not
interfere with other SIKUCONTROL32 models travelling in the
same area or devices with other radio technologies (e.g.
WLAN or Bluetooth).
To start the model for the first time, please observe the following
sequence:
1. Turn the model on. To do so, move the ON/OFF switch on
the underside of the vehicle from the OFF position to the
ON position. The model flashes thus indicating its operational
readiness.
2. Turn on the remote control module by pressing the push-button.
The red control light on the remote control module flashes.
The remote control is ready for operation.
3. Now the connection between the model and the remote
control module is established. This process can take up to five
(5) seconds.
4. The connection between the remote control and the model
has been established once the headlight, rear light, and the
control light on the hand-held transmitter shine continuously.
The model is saved in the remote control module and is
ready for operation. It can only be operated with this remote
control module during this play sequence.
5. Play can begin.
Please note: The connection with the model is broken by turning
off the remote control module (please press the push-button
on the remote control). This deletes the model from the internal
memory. The establishment of a connection described above
and beginning with step one has to be carried out again for
the next system start.
The remote control module
This SIKUCONTROL32 model can only be operated with the
SIKU remote control module enclosed with this packaging. This
module works with 2.4 GHz radio technology which, according
to current scientific understanding and if used properly, does not
cause damage to health. The functions of the buttons for this
model are shown on page 2. The (rechargeable) AAA batteries
required to operate the remote control module are not included
in the scope of supply. Observe the symbols on the placement
and position of the batteries in the battery compartment.
The appliance should be used in dry areas and protected
against dirt – in particular against dust and damp. If cleaning is
required, do so only with a dry cloth. Contacts in the remote
control module must not be short-circuited.
Note on the (rechargeable) batteries
The model and remote control module are only permitted to be
operated with (rechargeable) batteries of type AAA. Please regularly
check that batteries are not leaking. Remove empty
(rechargeable) batteries from the model and remote control
module. Non-rechargeable batteries are not permitted to be
recharged. Remove rechargeable batteries from the model and /
or remote control module before charging. Please only charge
rechargeable batteries under the supervision of adults. Insert
batteries the correct way round. Different battery types or new
and used batteries must not be used together.
Contacts of the (rechargeable) batteries are not permitted
to be short-circuited. Do not throw away used (rechargeable)
batteries with domestic waste. Please comply with
the special disposal regulations!
Caution! Defective batteries must not be sent back to the
manufacturer, instead they have to be disposed at the
local disposal point.
Safety information
Caution! Not suitable for children under thirty-six months.
Danger of suffocation due to small parts which can be swallowed.
SIKU toy models are manufactured in accordance with the
most recent safety provisions.
Please keep the packaging as it contains information provided
by the manufacturer.
Subject to colour changes and technical modifications.
If persons with impaired physical or mental abilities or motor
function or with insufficient experience or knowledge play
with this model, make sure that they received instruction from
a person responsible for them before play begins.
If using rechargeable batteries, ensure that suitable rechargers
are employed to charge the battery types used. Defective
chargers must not continue to be used. Please comply with the
operating instructions of the rechargers.
Please read the operating instructions before use and
keep them in a safe place.
