C. & E. Fein presents a new universal system for
interior work and renovation. Its name is Fein
Multimaster. Thanks to the oscillating
movement and the versatile accessories, it can
be used in various fields. In particular, it allows
to achieve great results in boat building and
restoration. Thanks to its cutting performance,
it works perfectly with wood, fiberglass, carbon
fiber-reinforced plastic and virtually all other
relevant materials. For the finishing and
renovating of the deck, for instance, the
cutting blades allow to remove deck sealing
materials quickly and thoroughly. The time
saving is 80% and more when renovating teak
decks. For sawing work on fibreglass and
carbon fibreglass reinforced plastic hulls, the
round HSS saw blades are recommended.

passati dimostrano che le promesse
dell’azienda sono state mantenute.
Micron 66 garantisce infatti lo scafo
pulito per almeno due anni, senza
bisogno di alare lo yacht al di là dei
regolari cicli di manutenzione.
Raggiunge inoltre questo risultato
anche in caso di imbarcazione
ferma, poiché si leviga
chimicamente, al contrario di
alcune antivegetative, che si
affidano al movimento della barca
per rimanere efficaci.
La terza promessa riguardava
l’ottimizzazione della velocità e
dell’efficienza del carburante grazie
alla superficie liscia dello scafo. Alcune
altre vernici diventano più ruvide con
l’uso, aumentando l’attrito. Micron 66
è formulata per reagire con l’acqua di
mare al fine di produrre un rilascio
controllato di biocidi, levigando la
superficie costantemente. La durata
dell’azione chimica è determinata dal
numero di mani applicate e dal tipo di
utilizzo dello yacht.

THE MOORING RING
Maggigroup®, leading

nautical accessories, offers the
innovative Elastoring mooring
ring. This patented ring can
double its length, diminishing
tugs on the line. Elastoring
stands out from normalspring
absorbers because it has no
metal parts subject to corrosion,
and thus is considerably lighter
in weight. The line passes
through the ring, and the
mooring is silent even under
heavy strain.
Micron 66 guarantees the
hull free of fouling for two
years at least, without
hauling the yacht to
antifoul outside normal
maintenance cycles.
Moreover it reaches this
result even in case of
stationary yacht, because it
polishes chemically, unlike
some antifoulings, which rely on the movement
of the boat to remain effective.
The third promise was the maximization of speed
and of fuel efficiency, thanks to the smooth
surface of the hull. Some other antifoulings get
rougher with use, increasing the friction. Micron
66 is designed to react with seawater to produce
a controlled release of biocide, constantly
polishing the surface. The duration of this
chemical reaction is determined by the number of
coats applied and the use pattern of the yacht.
