Tra le nuove iniziative di Experimenta06 c’è “Glocalmap.to”, un geoblog
che consente di inserire messaggi sulla mappa di Torino. I messaggi possono
essere inviati via web e sms, associandoli a un indirizzo preciso della
mappa, grazie a un motore di geo-coding che visualizza le fotografie aeree
del territorio in corrispondenza di ogni numero civico, marcato via GPS.

Amongst the new initiatives of Experimenta06 there
is “Glocalmap.to”, a geo blog that permits placing
messages on the map of Turin. Messages can be sent
via the web and sms, associating with a precise address
on the map, thanks to geo-coding engine which
will visualise the aerial photographs of the territory
corresponding to every street number, marked by
GPS. The messages may contain from one to three
tags: or rather the key word which identifies the
main arguments of that which will be written on line.

tends to interpret interactivity as a new form of
social interaction, projecting the urban space in the

da far proprio, da personalizzare, da arricchire con i contributi
di tutti. “Glocalmap.to” è dunque una “performing map”, la mappa
di una città tracciata dai percorsi dei suoi abitanti: dalle abitudini e
dai nuovi comportamenti che vengono espressi quotidianamente e costantemente
inventati da una geografia umana in costante evoluzione.
