OMEGABOX
Con un telecomando accedi alla televisione e a Internet. Crei la tua
compilation di musica e video, vedi in tempo reale le previsioni del tempo,
registri in digitale.
Si chiama OmegaBox. Nasce nei Laboratori di ricerca del CSP, la struttura
di innovazione della Pubblica Amministrazione piemontese.
La convergenza digitale sta diventando una realtà. Il mondo della televisione
e quello dei computer sono già oggi molto più vicini grazie al
digitale. Ed è in questa visione di futuro che nasce a Torino un progetto
di ricerca che rende concreta l’idea della convergenza.

OMEGABOX
With a remote control you can access the television
and Internet. You can create your own music and video,
you can watch in real time the weather forecast,
make digital recordings.
It is called OmegaBox. It is born in the research laboratories
of CSP, the innovative structure of the
Piedmont Public Administration.
Digital convergence is becoming a reality. The television
world and that of the computer are already
today much closer thanks to digital. And it is this
vision of the future that a research project born in
Turin makes the idea of convergence real.
