Con l’edizione 2004 Experimenta è entrata nel Guinness dei Primati con
il ponte tibetano più lungo del mondo: 374,12 metri. Le corde sono una
delle prime invenzioni dell’uomo, antecedente anche alla ruota. Crearle
e annodarle per costruirci un ponte, come da centinaia d’anni sanno
fare i tibetani, è un esempio di “tecnologia nascosta” che risale a tempi
antichi, ma ancora attuale.
Il ponte tibetano è una struttura di origine etnica composta da tre funi
collegate, considerata un attrezzo sportivo per testare abilità, destrezza
e senso dell’equilibrio. Durante l’orario di apertura della Mostra, potrete

With the 2004 edition Experimenta, entered into the
Guinness Book of Records with the longest Tibetan
bridge in the world: 374.12 metres. Ropes are one of
the first inventions of man, even before the wheel. To
make these and knot them to build a bridge, as hundreds
of years ago the Tibetans knew, is an example
of “hidden technology” which goes back to ancient
times, but still exists.
The Tibetan bridge is a structure of ethnic ori-
gins made of three connected ropes, considered a
sporting equipment to test ability, dexterity and a
sense of balance. During the opening hours of the
Exhibition, you may watch the trials or book to attempt
to cross the bridge even if you do not possess
the sporting preparation and experience that in the
past edition was obligatory. The challenge will take

The F.I.S.S.S. (Federazione Italiana Survival Sportivo

ma il passaggio più lungo si è protratto per quasi 2 ore. La sfida è ora
aperta a tutti, grazie a una rete anticaduta che permetterà l’attraversamento
ad un maggior numero di interessati, anche non esperti.
