alla corrosione, alle alte temperature e all’usura;
inoltre presentano una maggiore resistenza
meccanica. Vere e proprie tecnologie nascoste!
cavi d’acciaio.
intenso e prolungato.
HIGH TECH MATERIALS USED FOR THE
BRIDGES In the last ten years, the scientific
research for materials has been oriented towards
the synthesis of new substances able to offer
better performance in comparison to classic
materials. These new super materials are more
resistant to corrosion, to high temperatures and
use; in addition they present better mechanical
resistance. Real hidden technologies!
Most high tech materials are derived from
petrol, therefore have an organic base. In the
case of the ropes which constitute the tibetan
bridge for example, effective resistance is fundamental
to the “stretching”.
DYNEMA SK75: THE NEW
“SUPERSTATIC” FABRIC Polyethylene is
inadvisable for making ropes, because it deforms
easily. In any case its derivative, Dynema;
earned the name of “the most resistant fibre
in the world” Dynema is very tough, it has a
minimum elongation and low specific weight.
In addition it does not absorb water and presents
excellent dynamic capacity. The best ropes
for boating are today produced in Dynema
and can substitute also old, heavy steel cables.
Gradually, Dynema is also replacing Kevlar
where resistance capacity to intense and prolonged
heat is not required.
