SAUDADE
DO CARNAVAL
Nella Bahia la musica è tutto. Impossibile descrivere lo sfrenato carnevale
bahiano, il più bello del Brasile, prediletto dagli stessi brasiliani
perché il più coinvolgente, vivo, entusiasmante e partecipato. Simbolo
del carnevale di Salvador de Bahia è il Trio Elétrico, un TIR attrezzato per
diventare un palco su ruote e proporre uno spettacolo in movimento. Il
rimorchio è interamente carico di un “muro” di altoparlanti alto oltre
due metri, alla cui sommità viene costruito un palco dove musicisti, ballerini
e cantanti propongono la musica, che viene diffusa tutto intorno
affinché le 5-6 mila persone che si assiepano intorno al Trio possano
ballare a tutto volume (180 mila watt di potenza erogata).
SAUDADE DO CARNAVAL
In Bahia music is everything. It is impossible to describe
the unrestrained carnival of Bahia, the best in
Brazil, the favourite of the same Brazilians because it
is the most absorbing, lively, stirring and the most attended.
The symbol of the Bahian carnival is the Trio
Elétrico, an articulated lorry equipped to become a
stage on wheels and offer a moving show. The trailer
is completely loaded with a “wall” of loudspeakers of
more than two metres in height, at the tip of which
is a platform where musicians, dancers and singers
propose the music, which is propagated all round so
that the 5-6 thousand people thronging around the
Trio can dance at full volume (180 thousand watts
of power distributed). Inside the wall of boxes is
the heart of the Trio, a technologically avant-garde
production cabin where everything is controlled: microphones,
scenery, music, lights...
Entering in the “Saudade do Carnaval” you will take
a jump into space and time, catapulted in the streets
of Salvador Bahia during the days of the carnival and
you will learn the story of Xanddy, the most popular
Brazilian singer who grew up in the Oaf Organização
All’interno del muro di casse sta il cuore del Trio, una cabina di regia
tecnologicamente all’avanguardia dove si controlla tutto: microfoni,
macchina scenica, musica, luci...
Entrando in “Saudade do Carnaval” farete un salto nello spazio e nel
tempo, sarete catapultati per le strade di Salvador Bahia durante i giorni
del carnevale e conoscerete la storia di Xanddy, popolarissimo cantante
brasiliano cresciuto proprio all’interno dell’Oaf Organização de Auxílio
Fraterno, l’opera di padre Clodoveo Piazza s.j. Prima ascolterete uno
dei suoi brani, poi sarete voi stessi a creare la musica del carnevale.
Attraverso 4 postazioni mixer, 4 giocatori sceglieranno le tracce di musica
(fiati, percussioni, canto, coro, chitarra...) che ritengono più adatte.
Il tutto sarà miscelato e il pubblico giudicherà: sarà la tua la musica
degna del vero carnevale di Bahia?

Piazza s.j. First you will hear one of his songs, and
then you yourselves will create the music of the
carnival. Through 4 mixer emplacements, 4 players
will choose the trace of music (wind instruments,
percussion, song, chorus, guitar...) which they think
best. It will all be mixed together and the public will
judge: will it be your music that is worthy of the real
carnival of Bahia?
