I MANICHINI Al centro di questa sala troverete tre manichini che rappresentano
tre ideali suddivisioni del corpo umano: testa, busto e arti
inferiori. Grazie ai manichini potrete cominciare a capire quale tecnica
è stata usata per ottenere la vostra “immagine misteriosa” mentre brevi
interviste filmate racconteranno le possibili conseguenze fisiche, ed
economiche, dell’abuso delle tecniche diagnostiche.
SALA 3D Qui capirete come, unendo la tecnologia diagnostica all’informatica,
si possa ricostruire una immagine tridimensionale di un
corpo. Voi stessi, grazie a un computer, a un telo sensorizzato e a un
proiettore, costruirete una “foto” del vostro corpo.
SALA GULLIVER Al centro dell’ultima sala una grossa statua, lunga
circa 6 metri, di un uomo che dorme, rappresenta il nostro corpo.
Attraverso alcuni fori, potrete guardare all’interno della statua
per vedere e “sentire” un determinato organo rappresentato con una
delle tecniche diagnostiche messe a confronto: raggi X, ecografia,
risonanza magnetica.
A questo punto sarete in grado di individuare l’immagine misteriosa e la
tecnica utilizzata per ottenerla. Il viaggio nei segreti del corpo umano si conclude
quindi con l’esplorazione virtuale in 3D di un orecchio e dell’aorta.
THE DUMMIES In the middle of this room you will
find three dummies which represent three ideal subdivisions
of the human body: head, bust and lower
limbs. Thanks to the dummies you can start to understand
what technique was used to obtain your
“mysterious image” while short filmed interviews will
talk about the possible physical and economic consequences
of the abuse of diagnostic techniques.
3D ROOM Here you will understand how, by joining
the diagnostic technology to information technology,
you can rebuild a tri-dimensional image of a body.
You can, thanks to a computer; a sheet with sensors
and a projector build a “photo” of your body.
GULLIVER ROOM In the middle of the last room a
big statue, of about 6 metres in length of a man slee-
ping represents our body. Through some holes, you can
look inside the statue to see and “hear” a certain organ
represented by a diagnostic technique in comparison:
x rays, ultrasonography, and magnetic resonance.
At this point you will be able to guess the mysterious
image and the technique used to obtain it. The journey
in the secrets of the human body ends therefore with
the virtual exploration in 3D of an ear and the aorta.
