IL LABIRINTO
DELLA RICERCA
Sono molti gli “ingredienti” per diventare un buon ricercatore, più di
quanti si possa pensare. Serve innanzitutto la voglia di cercare qualcosa
di nuovo anche ponendosi obiettivi a prima vista impossibili; serve l’abilità
nel cercare le risorse per lavorare e, ancora, la capacità di accettare
che la ricerca possa concludersi in modo diverso dal previsto o avere
applicazioni totalmente inaspettate.
Nel labirinto viene rappresentata l’interazione tra i due elementi che
“muovono” la ricerca scientifica: la forza delle idee e la coerenza delle
azioni. Il ricercatore “naturalista” (ovvero lo scienziato che indaga la
natura in tutti i suoi aspetti), attraverso la sua paziente osservazione,
fornisce stimoli agli altri scienziati che, districandosi tre varie ipotesi,
sperimentano e producono nuove tecnologie. Per raggiungere un risultato
nel minor tempo possibile sarà necessaria da parte di tutti una
buona dose di abilità e intuito.
THE LABYRINTH OF RESEARCH
Many “ingredients” are needed to become a good researcher,
more than can be imagined. Above all the
need to find something new, at first even by pondering
seemingly impossible objectives, the ability to
find the resources to work is needed, and again, the
ability to accept the fact that research can end in a
different way to what was originally foreseen or to
have totally unexpected applications.
In the labyrinth interaction between the two “moving”
elements of scientific research is shown: strength
of ideas and coherence of action. The “naturalist”
researcher (the scientist who investigates nature in
all its aspects), through patient observation, provides
stimulus to other scientists who, disentangle various
hypotheses, experiment and produce new technologies.
It will be necessary for everyone to have a good
dose of ability and intuition to reach a result in the
shortest time possible.
