seaweed which use silica dissolved in water to build its extremely
fragile shell.
Studies of this type, which sometimes seem to be only the
pastime of a curious child, always contribute to changing our
future in a significant way, because they represent the road
that the scientists must follow for the development of a society
more conscious of consumption and pollution. Instead
of exploiting and upsetting Nature, modern man will in fact
seek more to “camouflage” himself in it, simulating in various
activities the most efficient solution discovered in animals
and plants. And it is also for this that today the protection
of all forms of life and their habitat is so important, as it is
important to return as soon as possible to train young people
in the dear, old “observation of nature”.
