I sondaggi in avanzamento possono rallentare la produzione. Tali<br />
perforazioni possono essere eseguite durante le fermate programmate <strong>di</strong><br />
manutenzione della TBM oppure partendo da nicchie laterali rispetto alla<br />
galleria.<br />
Le perforazioni in avanzamento possono essere con recupero <strong>di</strong> campioni<br />
oppure a <strong>di</strong>struzione con registrazione dei parametri tecnici <strong>di</strong> perforazione.<br />
Le indagini <strong>di</strong> tipo in<strong>di</strong>retto sono rappresentate dai meto<strong>di</strong> geofisici in<br />
avanzamento.<br />
I principali sono <strong>di</strong> tipo elettrico/elettromagnetico (BEAM, Bore Tunnelling<br />
