Al Vodafone Village, Erasmo Figini ha realizzato parte degli arredi del
Learning Center, creando uno spazio armonico all’interno di un progetto
pensato con più professionisti. “Entrando nel Village le prime cose che
mi hanno colpito - spiega Figini - sono state la bellezza e l’armonia del
progetto architettonico in relazione alla natura ricreata con la foresta di
bamboo. Ho voluto riportare all’interno questo forte impatto naturale,
ricostruendolo in maniera sintetica in un ambiente che fosse accogliente
e trasmettesse una sensazione di benessere”. Le pareti sono decorate
con grandi composizioni in legno tinto con le terre e con colori vegetali.
Il grande tavolo-scultura, le poltrone, i divani in metallo, sono in materiali
ecologici e riciclati (il legno è di riforestazione, il metallo è recuperato da
vecchie taniche di benzina): tutto all’insegna di una bellezza semplice
ma elegante e confortevole. Sono state, infine, realizzate due aule
tematiche, informali, fuori dagli schemi della formazione tradizionale,
che richiamano le vacanze al mare e in montagna, proponendo agli
utenti un luogo nel quale è possibile un distacco mentale ed emozionale,
così da favorire la creatività e l’attitudine al cambiamento.
Erasmo Figini has designed some of the furnishing for the Learning
Centre at the Vodafone Village, creating a seamless space as part of
a more extensive project envisaged in conjunction with a number of
other experts. As Figini himself explained, “the first things that struck
me upon entering the Village were the beauty and harmony of the
architectural design in relation to nature that has been recreated in
the form of a bamboo forest. I wanted to incorporate this kind of
powerful natural impact by recreating it synthetically in a warm and
welcoming setting conveying a sense of well-being”. The walls are
decorated with large compositions made of wood in earthy shades
and vegetable colours.
The large sculpture-table, armchairs and metal sofas are made of recycled,
eco-friendly materials (the wood comes from deforestation, the
metal was salvaged from old petrol cans): all the name of the simple
but elegantly comfortable beauty. Last but not least, two informal
theme rooms have been designed in an unconventional style evoking
seaside and mountain holidays, providing users with a place where
they can enjoy a mental-emotional break to foster creativity and an
aptitude for change.
