Start the handpiece motor by means of footpedal (2) for the bench-top
model or pedal control (10) for the floor model.
The tool rotation direction can be changed by pressing reverse button (6);
the button illuminates when it is pressed.
Tool rotation speed can be freely set in relation to the type of work by
means of potentiometer knob (7) on the bench-top model, or pedal control
(10) on the floor model.
Furthermore, bench-top models are equipped with a display (8) showing
motor speed in rpm (x 100).

The motor can be stopped as follows:
- by releasing footpedal (2) (or control (10) for the floor model);
- by setting main power switch (1) to OFF, thereby disconnecting
electrical power from the appliance;
- by unplugging the mains power cable.

In relation to the material being machined, use personal protective
equipment (facemask, gloves, safety glasses, etc.) and, if necessary, a
suitable exhauster system.
