Start the handpiece motor by means of footpe<strong>da</strong>l (2) for the bench-top<br />
model or pe<strong>da</strong>l control (10) for the floor model.<br />
The tool rotation direction can be changed by pressing reverse button (6);<br />
the button illuminates when it is pressed.<br />
Tool rotation speed can be freely set in relation to the type of work by<br />
means of potentiometer knob (7) on the bench-top model, or pe<strong>da</strong>l control<br />
(10) on the floor model.<br />
Furthermore, bench-top models are equipped with a display (8) showing<br />
motor speed in rpm (x 100).<br />

The motor can be stopped as follows:<br />
- by releasing footpe<strong>da</strong>l (2) (or control (10) for the floor model);<br />
- by setting main power switch (1) to OFF, thereby disconnecting<br />
electrical power from the appliance;<br />
- by unplugging the mains power cable.<br />

In relation to the material being machined, use personal protective<br />
equipment (facemask, gloves, safety glasses, etc.) and, if necessary, a<br />
suitable exhauster system.<br />
