The laboratory micromotor is equipped with the following command and<br />
control devices located on the power supply unit:<br />

a) Main power switch (white) (1).<br />
b) White tool rotation direction selector illuminated pushbutton (reverse)<br />
(6). When reverse tool rotation is selected (normal=clockwise,<br />
reverse=counterclockwise) the relative indicator lamp illuminates.<br />
c) Tool rotation footpe<strong>da</strong>l (2) (bench-top model only).<br />
d) Tool speed potentiometer control knob (7) (bench-top model only).<br />
e) Motor rpm display (R.P.M. x 100 – bench-top model only) (8).<br />
f) Pe<strong>da</strong>l type speed control (10) (floor model only).<br />

With the appliance powered down for safety, fit the required tool to the<br />
handpiece. This is done by turning the lever (A - Fig. 3) through 90° in a<br />
clockwise or counterclockwise direction, inserting the tool into collet (B).<br />
Now return lever (A) to its original position to lock the tool in place.<br />
The appliance can now be powered up by means of main power switch<br />
(1).<br />
