Turn over the top card of the stock and put it next to the stock
face-up. This is the first card of the discard pile. If the card that
was turned over happens to be an action card (see Action Cards, p.
2), put it at the bottom of the stock and turn over another card.

How to Play
The player to the dealer’s left begins, then the turn to play passes
clockwise. On his turn, each player may play one, and only one
card. Which cards can be played depends on the top card of the
discard pile. You can play either a card of the same colour, or one
showing the same animal. Which card he plays is for each player to
decide – action cards are also an option. Play the card by putting it
face-up on top of the discard pile. Then the turn to play passes to
the next player.
