The products entitled to the Monti Iblei DOP label, which characterizes the production of extra-virgin olive oil in the Val di Noto area, to the south of Sicily, continue to reap notable awards, due to the level of excellence achieved by the producer companies of an oil which has a fresh by Francesco Torlaschi fragrance tinged with green tomato and freshly mown wet grass. Alongside its medium fruity flavour, with its persistent touches of green tomato and other kitchen garden products, it offers a medium-hot sensation when used with very fine pasta, leaving a perfect equilibrium in the mouth.
