2.3 Phytosanitary Certificates<br />
All phytosanitary certificates regardless of commodity type require<br />
the following 'generic' additional declaration to be endorsed upon<br />
the certificate. Note where applicable, additional declarations<br />
identified within this document for specific commodities must also<br />
be stated upon the certificate<br />

Phytosanitary certificates are generally required for all plants and plant<br />
products with the exception of the following:<br />
Plants or plant products immersed and / or preserved in chemicals,<br />
salt, sugar, oil or other preservative materials<br />
Wooden or bamboo products that can be used without re-processing<br />
Processed products in the form of fiber products such as cotton,<br />
hemp cloth, paper, string or net<br />
Plants or plant products processed to the extent that harmful plant<br />
pests can be killed and / or eliminated, and then packed to prevent reinfestation
