grande, media e lady, tutte associabili a
portamine.
Come già detto per gli altri modelli Omas,
anche sulle Extra Lucens, nel periodo bellico,
vengono montati pennini in
Permanio e finiture cromate.
Negli anni del dopoguerra, superate le
difficoltà di approvvigionamento di materie
prime e pronto a cogliere le trasformazioni
del gusto del pubblico, Simoni procede
ad un restyling tecnico ed estetico
delle proprie linee.
Il modello Extra Lucens non subisce
variazioni di rilievo e rimane sostanzialmente
immutato; recupera il pennino in
oro, questa volta monocromatico e non

models Simoni used a very light
colored celluloid. This proved to be too

The Omas range therefore now included
four very high quality pens: the lever-filled
Extra, the transparent cylindrical Lucens,
the faceted Extra, and the 12-sided
faceted Extra Lucens. All the models have
the typical roller clip and fretted cap band
between two thin rings.
The Extra Lucens, originally made in
medium size only, is a very modern, high-

dei modelli 351 e 352, la cui presenza
sul mercato fu brevissima. Si tratta
di penne, oggi estremamente rare, che

linee classiche delle Extra Lucens ed i
modelli che si affermeranno nel corso
degli anni cinquanta.

In 1938 the design of the Extra Lucens
was reviewed, with the adoption of an
arrow-shaped clip, the elimination of the
fretted cap band for three thin rings, and
the addition of a small circular engraving
under the clip with the initials of
Armando Simoni. The number of sizes
was increased to three – large, medium,
and lady – each of which could be paired
with a matching automatic pencil.
