Se, ricollegandosi al<strong>la</strong> seconda': parte dell'Essenza del cristianesimo, <strong>Feuerbach</strong> riprende come momento- critico <strong>la</strong> distinzione, <strong>non</strong> omette però neppure di sottolineare, in linea- con <strong>la</strong> prima parte dell'opera 36, il momento positivo dell'unione. La; Trinità è allora, secondo un brano trascritto, l'ideale cui tende <strong>la</strong> comu nità dei credenti: Etenim si omnium crederitium, sicut scriptum est, erat anima una et cor unum: si omnis qui adhaeret Domino unus Spiritus est, ut Apostolus dixit: si vir et uxor in carne una sunt: si omnes homines, quantum ad <strong>natura</strong>m perline!; unius substantiae sumus, si hoc de humanis scriptura dicit, quia multi unum sunt, quorum nul<strong>la</strong> potest esse cum divinis comparatio, quanto magis Pater et Filius in divinitate unum sunt, ubi nec substantiae, nec voluntatis ul<strong>la</strong> est differentia 37. Da qui <strong>la</strong> continua insistenza dei padri, colta da <strong>Feuerbach</strong>, sul l'essenza divina come comunità, come reciprocità, come concordia nelle operazioni ad extra 38 , e <strong>la</strong> loro esclusione di ogni singo<strong>la</strong>rità in quanto- solitudine 39 . In questa prospettiva, certamente più acuta e originale, già abbozzata nel<strong>la</strong> prima parte dell'Essenza del cristianesimo 40 , <strong>la</strong> critica- del<strong>la</strong> trinità come identificazione immediata di essenza e persona appare semplicistica, parziale, astratta, giacché ignora ciò che è costitutivo in essa, <strong>la</strong> mediazione, una mediazione <strong>non</strong> intellettualistica, ma d'amore. ORIGINARIETÀ E DIPENDENZA: LA PERSONA COME RELAZIONE. Certo <strong>la</strong> definizione di Boezio del<strong>la</strong> persona come « <strong>natura</strong>e ratio- nabilis individua sub stantia » <strong>non</strong> da conto del<strong>la</strong> persona divina, ma> neppure del<strong>la</strong> persona <strong>umana</strong>. La teologia contemporanea 41 , forte del l'esistenzialismo e del personalismo, ha riscoperto nell'antica dogmatica trinitaria il concetto di persona come re<strong>la</strong>zione. A questo proposito è significativo osservare come lo stesso Feuer bach nel momento in cui si prepara a rovesciare il primato dell'essenza- rispetto all'esistenza, coglie l'importanza di questo aspetto. AL CUORE DEL CRISTIANESIMO: LA TRINITÀ 51 seconda parte dell'Essenza del cristianesimo le persone divine sono an- •cora viste come raffigurazioni individuali, empiriche di determinazioni • concettuali per l'intervento surrettizio dell'immaginazione 42 , nel<strong>la</strong> prima rappresentano le re<strong>la</strong>zioni primarie, da cui dipende essen zialmente l'uomo 43 . Un buon numero di estratti di Petau è dedicato all'analisi delle re <strong>la</strong>zioni intertrinitarie che, come sottolineano vari testi riportati, costi tuiscono^ persone stesse 44 . La prima re<strong>la</strong>zione, peraltro già trattata nell'Essenza del cristiane simo, è quel<strong>la</strong> di padre e figlio: l'uno genera, l'altro è generato, l'uno è principio, l'altro è principiato. <strong>Feuerbach</strong> riporta molti testi dei padri, come Gregorio Nazianzeno, Atanasio, Agostino, che dimostrerebbero lo sforzo per comporre da un <strong>la</strong>to <strong>la</strong> dipendenza del figlio dal padre, il suo aver principio, dall'altro <strong>la</strong> sua piena divinità, <strong>la</strong> sua assoluta distinzione rispetto alle creature 45 . Il risultato è sì per lui con tradditorio, sofistico 46 , ma l'esigenza ineludibile, che ne è al<strong>la</strong> base, è quel<strong>la</strong> del<strong>la</strong> mediazione fra Dio e l'uomo. Riprendendo l'Essenza del cristianesimo 47 egli dimostra attraverso molti testi che il figlio è l'uomo in Dio, <strong>la</strong> possibilità reale di entrare in contatto col pa dre. L'antica patristica infatti chiama il padre con l'appel<strong>la</strong>tivo assoluto di Dio fondando su di lui l'unità divina w , mentre fa derivare l'onnipo tenza del figlio dal dono del padre 49 .
