quindi diretto Urmel voll in Fahrt
(2008) e Animals United (2010),
che è costato oltre tre anni di
realizzazione e che è, a oggi, il più
costoso film europeo in Cgi.

Deserto del Kalahari, Botswana, Africa. La mangusta Billy non
riesce più a trovare acqua sufficiente per sé e la sua famiglia.
Si tratta di una situazione che tanti altri animali della zona suoi
amici sono costretti a subire (dal leone Socrate all’elefantessa
Angie, dalla giraffa Gisella al canguro Toby, fino alla tartaruga
gigante Winston e allo scimpanzè Toto) e che rischia di condannarli
tutti a morte certa. Quando scoprono che la causa del
problema è una grande diga costruita per la realizzazione di un
resort di lusso a pochi chilometri, decideranno, consapevoli della
straordinaria biodiversità che essi stessi rappresentano, di unirsi
e affrontare insieme il pericolo rappresentato dall’uomo.
The Kalahari Desert, Botswana, Africa. Billy the mongoose can’t
find any more water for himself and his family. Just like many
other of his animal friends (Socrates the lion, Angie the elephant,
Giselle the giraffe, Toby the kangaroo, Winston the giant tortoise,
and Toto the chimpanzee), Billy faces certain death. When the
animals discover that the cause of the water shortage is a dam
being constructed for a nearby deluxe resort, they realize the extraordinary
biodiversity they represent and decide to join forces
against the man-made threat to their survival.
