Safety First.
Five stories about work safety
Sicurezza si può è il titolo del progetto promosso
da Inail Piemonte, Museo Nazionale del
Cinema e Festival CinemAmbiente per portare
sullo schermo esempi concreti di buone pratiche
di sicurezza sul lavoro.
Parlare del lavoro con un linguaggio nuovo,
parlare a tutti e non solo agli esperti, raccontare
la storia di chi ogni giorno, con serietà e
impegno, conoscendo i rischi, sa come evitarli.
Questi gli obiettivi del progetto, in sintesi: portare
la tutela del lavoro dalle leggi alla coscienza
di ogni lavoratore e imprenditore.
Dopo un anno di ricerca e preparazione sono
stati prodotti cinque documentari, della durata
di circa dieci minuti ciascuno, realizzati da giovani
promesse del cinema italiano, vincitori di
un concorso nazionale che ha visto la partecipazione
di oltre cento candidati.
I film, presentati il 15 novembre 2010 in anteprima
nazionale a Torino, traducono in linguaggio
cinematografico la realtà di alcune aziende
piemontesi che si sono distinte nel realizzare
soluzioni avanzate per la prevenzione del rischio
dei lavoratori e dell’ambiente.
A loro e alle maestranze va un particolare ringraziamento.
Safety First is the title of a film project on good
work safety practices jointly promoted by the
Italian Workers’ Compensation Authority (IN-
AIL) Piemonte, the National Museum of Cinema,
and CinemAmbiente - Environmental Film
Festival.
To talk about work using a new language, to
speak to everyone and not just the experts, to
recount the daily experience of those familiar
with the risks involved and so take an extra step
to avoid them.
In brief, these are the project’s objectives: to
transition work safety from legal regulations
to awareness among workers and employers.
A year in the making, the five documentary
shorts of about 10 minutes each were filmed by
promising Italian filmmakers and winners of a
national competition in which over 100 candidates
had competed.
Presented at a national advance viewing held in
Turin on 15 November 2010, the films enquire
into the reality of five companies operating in
Piedmont and actively engaged at the forefront
of accident prevention and work safety. Particular
thanks are due the management and staff
of these companies.
